Australian Super Truck Nationals - Rnd 1, Wakefield - April 9 & 10, 2022

We head to Goulburn’s Wakefield Park Raceway as the big rigs of Australian motor racing, the Hi-Tec Oils Australian Super Truck Nationals finally roar back into life for the first round of 2022. A strong turn out of these trucks are itching to hit the track, in what is sure to be close, competitive racing.

This is so unbelievably cool! I do not understand how I could be this far in my life and still find myself today years old because of this video. My kids will absolutely lose their shit when they see this. As an American, I adore the sensational post apocalyptic films in the Mad Max franchise. Please don’t look down on me for that, but I find it wonderful and entertaining. That’s beside the point. I’m amazed with these trucks and the extent of the modifications and abilities of these things and suddenly I realize the builds and the capabilities of the vehicles in the post apocalyptic future are probably finding their genesis right here.

Im a flaggie in NZ, and the NZ supertrucks series has to be one of my favourite class here in NZ. Pity they cant racing in Auckland anymore, and if i wanna watch them, i gotta go south.

I am at the Winton motor race way and literally just watched them like a hour ago and yes the white and red Mack sounds the best out of the lot and the white Isuzu soots the most

Now THIS IS A TRUCK race not that yanky built ute series. I feel like the isuzu’s should have there own race class they are clearly out done by the supertrucks

Look, I love these things, but they need to develop a new fuel for them, they just pump out so much crap. Some sort of biofuel so they don't cause so much pollution.
