Because blood does not equal damage. A nasty cut will spill some blood and look very scary but not much else. A couple drops of blood look like a spilled mug.

Disagree, King is a warrior that did not quit, my hat goes off to her. She took on a huge challenge here and although unsuccessful she stood on her 10 toes and battled. Respect🙏🏿
Kayla is so obviously on peds. I saw her in the crowd at the UFC last night. You can just tell when a woman has taken peds, the skin, the facial features, the neck and veins, she screamed peds.
@@lauralishes1 They all use PEDs man, it’s only until they get banned is when they get in trouble. Think of the days of 1-AD and Tren. It was basically gear without the Gyno(sometimes), they find something that isn’t listed and take it until it’s coming out of their ears. Until what she is taking is banned, she will continue and anyone that steps up for that challenge has my respect.

Even in an interview Kayla said she was wondering why the reff wasn't calling it and didn't know if she should keep punching. It was the reffs fault for not calling it.

Kayla has the skill, experience, strength/speed and genetics to run any weight class she enters for years. This chick is incredible. This fight was severely mismatched; gotta find stronger opponents. They just let it drag on cuz it gets views and they want the attention to their league - this fight gets stopped sooner in the UFC and a couple other leagues.
She's good but I feel she needs more of a challenge. Someone like cyborg or nunes would be a good test for her
I was impressed how comfortable Kayla was using her elbows considering they’re banned in the pfl. Once her striking is up to par she’s going to be unstoppable.
I hope so, but I doubt it. She'll be like 32 before she gets into the upper echelons of the UFC or ONE......Judokas rarely become champs too.....idk how much mma game she has.

@M Pr I've seen Kayla a couple of times and she definitely has the ability to take anyone down if she gets her hands on that person but I don't see her having a chance standing against Nunes or Cyborg. Don't get me wrong her grappling is great but her standup is way behind, she is stiff, her head movement it's slow and predictable, it's like robotic and her kicks are telegraphed. She has a long way to go before she gets in there with either of the top 2 female fighters in the World.
Kayla is a beast! So much more comfortable striking than Rousey ever hoped to be. She doesn't want to submit people. She wants to pound them into submission or unconsciousness. Wow!!
I'd say her striking is only slightly better than peak Rousey in this fight. Harrison's footwork looked good and she has potential for sure.
Thanks for the upload, only one complaint, the background sounds of the coaches was way too loud and often overshadowed the commentary. Please fix the mic levels or outputs, so that whilst we can hear the background sounds, it's the commentators, who are after all, being paid to professionally commentate to do their jobs.....

What does Ronda Rousey's bronze have to do with Kayla? Rousey earned plenty of gold, just not at the olympic games. Had she continued competing in the olympic games, I'm sure she would have gotten gold. She basically quit judo after the games she took bronze in, so your statement is pretty nonsensical. Kayla winning gold doesn't somehow make her a better judoka. It also doesn't necessarily equate to her doing better than Rousey in MMA. They're both tremendous, so why even bother trying to say which one is better?

Saw more out of king then harrison here.. kings head was always off center line on the feet,landed kicks, landed distance learning shots, checked kicks, took angles, able to stop kaylas takedown and seperate the clinch from the cage, kept working to advance position and defended the arm bar while taking a blood bath.. came out strong in the second.. Props to kayla for the hulk smash but i see king with much more potential, overall skills and heart... Can't wait to see kings next fight

@@geronimo9193 well, I cannot say one way or the other. She’s always (sorta) looked this way (big frame, chin, shoulders), yet women as they age tend to get softer (especially after having children). I’ve dated a women who had to regulate her hormones with small doses of TRT, and its most definitely apparent (not fitness women anavar apparent), but apparent in more muscular, voice, little man in the canoe, libido, and the need for laser hair treatment. This being said, international judo and wrestling levels take a special kind of mind set, and insane dedication. I see what you’re seeing, however there is a very real possibility she’s a bit of an anomaly, and by all the planets aligning, she found her exact place in the world. As a 26 year former Judo club player(50 yrs old), people like her exist. Her Judo ( for a larger weight class) is quite beautiful.

@@michaelprice6158 to be honest, Kayla hasn't showcased judo as good as Ronda in the cage. She missed some ashi waza throws, and most of the takedowns Kayla uses besides ashi waza are wrestling takedowns. She has a bigger judo pedigree than Ronda for sure, but Ronda's judo in the cage looked a lot better.

I don't know how good Kayla will ultimately be -- she needs to raise the level of her competition -- but at this point in Rousey's career, she didn't have nearly the footwork, head movement, and ease in the stand-up that Harrison already has. She looks so comfortable on the feet. Rousey had some power, but never had the smooth technical development. That could be her coaches' fault. But you can tell Kayla is well-trained & has some natural ability, too.

No OFFENSE to Courtney King but she is not a professional fighter or shouldn't be at least. She is extremely robotic and movement is almost impossible to teach unless you do it from a super young age. If I was her advisor, I would tell her to STOP fighting because you have 0 chance of ever becoming a real championship contender. Fight SHOULD of been stopped at the 2:20 mark of the first round, it was hard to watch, damn King is LUCKY she didn't get life changing hurt. Shame on King's CORNER for NOT throwing in the TOWEL.
I need to see Harrison against much, much better competition before I can really know if she's legit. But Kayla looks fantastic.
