I want kayla to fight in UFC. She got the style and power to defeat amanda nunes.
Not sure if she'd be able to cut the weight for it, but I would also love to see her and Amanda Nunes in a fight.
I'm a fan of Nunes too, but she really needs to fight opponents who match her level a bit more often. Harrison could definitely be one of them.
Edit: forgot to mention they are occasionally training partners, so they clearly know each other well. An actual match between them would be amazing.

I look at the way Kayla fights and I can’t help but think...how in the blue hell is she not in the UFC when we had Ronda Rousey walking around as a champ when all she could do was bully lesser fighters into armbars and had no standup game. Kayla is legit a fighter that can ruin your face and ruin appendages
Ronda fought the competition that was available there was no ufc women’s division without her. Kayla took her time to get better while, rondas team let her ego get the best of her. The competition just got better, it isn’t like ronda wouldn’t be in the top 5 in the ufc, but she wasn’t beating Amanda, she could still beat Michelle waterson and Paige
@@elijahstark3663 There is no way Ronda can be top 5 with her skill set. If she improved on her stand and she could be top 10. Bantamweight is looking really competitive at the top right now.

I'm just got into judo while Ronda Rousey was having her breakthrough, and that's what drew me back into watching MMA. The first fight I watched of hers was when she got knocked out by Holly Holm. I'm afraid to cheer for Harrison now I'm afraid the same fate will befall her with my crappy luck

What is it with these persistent take downers? Looks again like an easy and somewhat sneaky way of applying the good old arm bar for a win. Not sure if the ‘ arm are should be banned as many fighters always use it for a guaranteed win and do not have to work too hard to secure it. Rousey’s speciality for a quick win with not much effort. Same with Miura, one trick pony- take down then neck choke. Nothing else that she can do! Gets boring until they get stopped with a few good standing punches!

@@richardking9703 Yeh, well I probably would as a good percentage of the fighters do ‘slug it out’ preferably to laying on the floor for most of the round! Which is, as I have said, boring to say the least when so named ‘grapplers’ like Nicolini, especially Nicolini just lay atop their opponent like a dead Jellyfish just wasting time knowing that take downs count towards a win!
You say that stand up fighting is boxing! But surely the grapplers/take-downers could be classed as ‘wrestlers’ as both actions are incorporated in MMA.

Exactly ,but they are both judokas and grapplers,am also a judoka into mma so I fight exactly like them,and same thing in street fight, just that when I throw in a street fight, they usually knock out or paralyze, no need to follow them to the ground in all caes

I really like MMA, but I must admit I find it rather boring when the whole fight is on the ground.
Sounds you like boxing/kickboxing not MMA... (MIXED martial arts)... You should check out OneFC, you’ll get the standup you want to see. Meanwhile classic fans of combat sports will continue to appreciate the true “Sweet Science”
You're likely just not aware of exactly what's going on, which is understandable if you made your mind up that it's boring and simply weren't interested in it. I'd suggest watching some BJJ matches, trying to understand what is going on, and then looking back on the fights you thought were boring. Some fights simply are boring, but if you have a greater understanding of what you're watching you'll probably be more interested in what is going on.
Probrably cause you dont know much about ground game. I started enjoing when i started with jiu-jitsu
I find the IQ involved in grappling quite interesting. Not to say anything beats a punch up with accurate kicking, but watching a world class Judoku is priceless.
Seems like u are a boxer/kick boxer, why not branch a judo gym and tell them u can beat them all,and when they put u on the ground and damaging u ,you would appreciate the ground work,even ask yourself if for any reason u were taken to the ground and being mauled or beaten, what's going to be your strategy to fight back and get up
