Ok thanks . Now I'm having an issue figuring out how to get the clutch off lol I have the rf900*r* so I have just the single nut in the middle but can fit a socket in the hole to get to it? I know the regular rf900 has the clutch with the 4 bolts . Which one did you have?
Hi I'm working on the same thing right now! I'm stock though. I have the case very loose but can't get it to come all the way off... The only thing I noticed different on yours is you have the clutch off... Do you have to take the clutch off to get the case to come apart?
I have all the spares i need and my RF has the exact same problem and I'm tossing up between fixing it myself and paying someone else to do the dirty work. So with the benefit of hindsight would you go and do this repair again yourself? or just pay someone to do it?
@@BrabusTKR +1, but there's also a lot to be said for learning to do stuff. In this day age, I don't have any choice, if I couldn't do it, it wouldn't get done ;-)

good haha. you can usually find the full shop manual for these old bikes on the internet in PDF form if you look long enough.

I'd do it myself. but If you aren't used to doing this sort of work you should pay someone
