hope you see this comment although the tutorial is almost 4 years. Why did you connect the drive to usb and change back to sata? Also this flash is only for unlocked drive right? I have an xbox360 drive DG-16D4S with 9405 (0272 FW) and trying to flash it and couldn't do it using SATA and jungle flasher latest version. Always get error when trying to get slim key or slim unlock
@@SOUNDTRICK by the way, i tried again and was able to get into vendor mode but couldn't do anything from there as I thought this was the way to get key and unlock slim which was always giving me failed. I saw the other video where you attach the usb/sata to xbox and did that and was able to unlock slim and backup the key with the other files, info, dummy, etc. Anyhow I checked another tutorial for flashing as mine is DG-16D4S winbond 0272 and I had to drill to get that spi unlocked 0xc8. I did that perfectly and got 0x00 but next step Read the firmware under MTK flash 32 to backup it up failed multiple time. However I tried flash and it worked so not sure why.
So you dont need a probe?

because that's the way to put the drive in vendor mode
