Ive learned a long time ago that the people that live in the south refer to it as “ God’s Country “ and i can see why, the landscape and scenery is so relaxing to the soul ❤😊
I've never had a green thumb, unfortunately. I sprinkle wild flower mix in the yard because they fend for themselves so well. I've made it my mission to support the growers at the local farmers market, since they do it so well.
Corie I know this is a gardening video, but I have request for you and Katie. Please pray for my 14yr old daughter. She's soon finishing 8th grade and going to high school next year, going through puberty, and I'm a single Mama since her Daddy died 8yrs ago. She's so smart! I want her to have wisdom. That is more valuable than anything, because it'll show you how to get and manage everything else. Please pray for my Mallory 🌻

Corie, I really enjoyed watching you plant flowers and vegetables in this video! I don’t have anything planted right now, but I live far north of you. So your growing season begins quite awhile before ours. I’m in my senior years of life, so I’ve slowed down a lot and I plant fewer things now. I am going to plant a few tomatoes and I also have some flowers to plant in pots on my patio. It continues to be very chilly here, uncomfortably so! You have inspired me to get outside and clean up the soil where I will be planting! I really enjoy videos of you, Austin, your sister, and your mother and dad! ❤️

Everything is looking great in your garden Corie!! I miss our garden because I can't get out in my yard to do anything since I'm disabled now, so I love your and your parents gardening videos. I can't even pick blueberries off my blueberry bush so all birds feast on them. I can get on my porch though, so I think next year I might plant some tomatoes and onion buttons and maybe some herbs in pots. That will give me some gardening back in my life!

We love watching you guys garden down there. A tip… plant the chives in the ground, as they will come up every year! Close to the house where the sun might get them warm, where they’ll come up earlier in the spring. They need little maintenance, you can even cut them and chop small and dry. We love them also. From Michigan here so LOVE your shirt.

Beautiful gardens.
I planted spring onions, about 5 years ago. And have split and replanted them several times. Now they fill up a medium size, plastic barrel, pot. We just harvest as needed now, and it never runs out! They die back each winter, and return each spring in mid-West Ga. To extend their growing season ( like all herbs! ), when they starts to bud flowers, just pinch / clip the buds off. After they flower, the plant thinks its done its job growing, and dies off.
We use them for salads, dressings, and I make a compound butter with garlic and chives. Chive On!

AWSOME!!!! The lava rock is much better than the wooden mulch around your house. Termites are bad to get into wood mulch and get into your house structure. Some members of my family found this out the hard way. Got termites in their home had a horrible time getting rid of them. Horrific problem termites!!!!

O honey I love rocks to, when I lived in Ala, I couldn’t find rocks so I bought some, my husband couldn’t believe I bought rocks. You are so blessed to have all those rocks where you live .They are a beautiful accent to your yard and home. I can’t wait to see your yard when everything is full and in bloom. You should water your plants once you put them in soil. Helps them get a good start. So nice to see things shaping up. Hope you have a better outcome with the slugs this year. ❤️🇨🇦

I watch these videos at like 2 or 3 am while I breastfeed my baby 😅. I have a small garden right now (like 10x10) that I had planted up pretty well last year, but I'm just doing cucumbers, beans, squash, and maybe a tomato plant this year. Keeping it small. It's hard to garden with a baby, but I love it, so my husband makes sure I get the time to get out there and do my thing. I haven't planted yet because in WV (that stinkin' Michigan shirt needs to go! 😂) I've seen frost up until about May 15, but I'll get stuff going next week. Pretty place you have! The flower beds will be so nice when your grow bags and flowers bloom out. Praying for Miss Cindy

I feel your excitement about the 100 foot hose and sprayer. A handy water supply is a must for your garden. The dianthus will last for years. They go dormant in the winter but will return each spring even bigger. All looks really nice!

Your chives will come back each year. The are super pretty when they bloom also. They are a perennial here in Michigan so I am sure they are there also.

Corie, its strange that you had mentioned Georgia Bulldogs, several years ago there was a student named Kristen Schnakke that played softball and throughout the entire game she was always pumped up and gave all her players inspiration so from that point my favorite team was the Georgia Bulldogs❤

Your chives will survive the winter in your grow bags. Cut the seed heads off and you will have chives all summer.
