This is great content. I think you need to Jazz it up with a more flashy tech driven approach and more to the point. My 11 year old lost interest in video but it is really valuable info.
Great video to teach us on how to impress the people at tryouts. Would you not mind but making a video on ways to increase wrist strength for when you take your wrist shots. Thanks!
What’s your opinion on youth competitive hockey this year as in how do you think it will work with all the covid regulations. Do you think we’ll have a normal season and have the opportunity to play at the highest level possible with all that’s going on right now. The only reason I’m asking is it’s all still fairly in the dust as to what’s really happening this year, when it’s happening, wether it’s 5on5 or 3on3, contact or no contact, travel or no travel, it’s just hard trying to understand what’s to come.
I can't really make any guesses as it seems to be different all over Canada, let alone the world. If COVID-19 is still not under control where you live, I wouldn't be too concerned if you have to play 3v3 or 4v4 without contact. Players can still develop quite a bit with this type of hockey plus if the season isn't as long or a grueling it allows players like us to train more and get that much more of an advantage when hockey does return.
Thanks for all the effort you guys put into hockey training and education, it's very much appreciated!
Wow!! Love this info. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Really helpful, i have rep tryouts this week.
Good luck!
Thanks for the info.
No problem, thanks for watching 👊

Hey Chase, I will add that to the list... for now check out our other TH-cam videos on grip strength or upper body strength.
Do you have any youth upper body work outs?
Yup, check out our channel we've posted a few. Also check out our app HockeyTraining TV (search the app stores).
Do u have any other suggestions for fast digestion carbs hydrates?
White rice, white pasta, rice cakes, supplemental carbohydrate powder, coconut water, and ripe bananas all work well.
Hockey Training thanks
Is Gatorade a good drink during tryouts? It is there a good pre-made sodium potassium drink to add to water bottle?
Gatorade is OK, but check out this article for the top recommendation: www.hockeytraining.com/what-to-drink-during-your-hockey-game/
I’m shooting for b1 or higher any tips
Everything I can think of is in the video 👍
What is the best conditioning workout to not be tired during the 3rd of OT? Which one do you recommend?
Windsprints or just simply jogging for at least 20 minutes.
Any of the conditioning workouts on our channel or Hockey Training TV app
Does magnesium act as an electrolyte? That's what I sometimes put in my water, or is it only potassium and sodium? 🙊
It does, but, potassium and sodium are more important in an acute sense. Make sure you get those in too 👍
@@hockeytraining What amount potassium and sodium per litre of water? Too much or only sodium (sea salt) tends to make me feel ill
