Max is crushing it with his guests, this is the most badass podcast ever - Thank You so so much❤
And please DO incorporate the „woo-woo” into science :) Ancient people knew lots more than we know today & we’ve lost ao much of it overtime but we do have tools today to measure why prayers & intentions work on water & food for example so please please don’t skip over it, it’s fascinating & just as valuable as hardcore science

How much water do we need? I'm thinking in terms of optimal health, when we have plenty of electrolytes, are drinking low-deuterium and structured water, aren't exposed to toxins, have high production of metabolic water, and are living in healthy conditions that aren't excessively dehydrating us. Along with getting healthy exposure to light and so maintaining higher amounts of melanin.
Mary Ruddick observed the hunter-gatherer Hadza often only drink a cup of water a day, in spite of living in a hot and dry region. The Hadza don't even carry water when persistence hunting nor do they tend to stop to look for water, other than maybe occasionally sucking a bit of moisture from leaves. In talking with Ruddick, Harry Serpanos suggested they were likely getting deuterium-depleted water, such as from plants.
Laszlos Boros avoids drinking much water by ensuring deuterium-depleted sources and eating a high-fat, animal-based diet. For other reasons, Tim Noakes argues against overhydration, though in the past he was a leading advocate for athletes drinking lots of water. Working with professional athletes, he talks about the dangers of water in excess. The evidence and our understanding of it is changing greatly.

This makes me think about something thats stuck with me, David Choe on the JRE talked about spending time with some tribe and although he needed to carry bottled water with him and had a hard time keeping up on the hunt the tribe he was with easily went for hours without shedding any sweat and when they needed water theyd just dig a hole in the ground till they reached water and drink some of that

That was also my question to Petra Davelaar she wrote: "There is no magic amount. It depends on your weight, activity level, the temperature, etc. Drink according to your thirst. From 100 grams of fat you produce 110 grams of water. The quality depends on the deuterium content of that fat. The lower the better. You can find that in organic lamb, grass-fed cows, etc.' ... I drink around 1 liter of water a day, sweating is a lot less in the sauna. I suspect that drinking half a liter of water is extremely low.

Doctor Batman, which is short for an Iranian name, has been studying this and talking about this for years with the water cure.He since passed away but he couldn't get anyone to listen to him

Interested to hear what you guys think of kangen water. I know some quantum health people hate it but experientially I find it much better hydrates me than water I’m able to access when travelling and when using it with low flow, it’s easy to make if hydrogen rich, with suspended bubbles visible in the water. It also has a decent filter in the machine. Here in Northern Ireland we don’t have fluoride in tap water, so I think it’s an “easy” decent answer. Finally. Whilst it’s obviously electrolysed, the drinking water is negatively charged and has to pass through turbulence going through the plates of the machine, so I’m GUESSING that this would positively impact the structured nature of the water. So many people are selling something / some machine / mineraliser / etc. that it’s difficult to get some unbiased information!
