    Does adding loft open the clubface or close the clubface slightly? and vice versa. I'm trying to make a 59 degree lob wedge and I'm deciding whether to bend a 58 or a 60. I tend to overdraw my shorter wedges and slice my longer clubs. Thanks

    Guy could fit there sims in between where he hits and where the screen is 😂

      If he is using trackman, from what I understand, he needs to be that far back, the trackman needs to see the ball fly a bit to get data when I went to get fit at Taylor-Made performance lab. They said that they used to use trackman in their indoor fitting bay, but they removed it because it didn’t get the right data indoors. I guess that could be because they were swinging too close to the screen indoors.

    I would go with 2 weak, I want a higher flight, and with that, it will spin more,and stop quicker. If I need more distance I simply add a club.

    Would be interested in understand the influence on the impact with the bounce. I’m experimenting with a set of MP20 blades 2 degrees strong looking to blend into my current set of HMB. Will be testing and then see how the gapping and bounce influence on strike affects shots. Maybe to wait until the U.K. comes out of lockdown!

      Typical it’s a 1:1 ratio for loft to bounce. 1* stronger is 1* less bounce.

    I'm about to buy a custom set if Mizuno forged 919that wasn't fitted for me , they are bent 2 * strong and 1* upright
    Now they are not custom fitted for my specs
    I need 3* so do you think a golf store could easily bend the loft back to just 1* strong and have it upright 3* ?
    Thanks

      Yes the forged is soft and easily bendable.

    nice video. I bought P770's last year from a golf pro with ns modem 5.0. I never felt I hit my balls as high as I used to. Last week I did some testing with the 790's with a C taper 110 shaft and hit my 7 iron higher with almost 10 yards further carry with good dispersion (trackman) I was thinking of replacing the shafts to the C taper and strengthening the lofts by 2 degrees. (I'm a 4 index who is 65 and only carrying my 7 about 140) What do you think?

      The c taper r flex 110 or the c taper lite 110 stiff?

    • @swingeasyguy
      @swingeasyguy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tourqualitygolf It's the r flex. (I also wondered how they would compare to the P770 stock shaft, which is the KBS tour flt.

    Well it's pretty good video but you said there's a yellow and a white line but there's no purple showing from the video. Still informative because I was thinking about having my old ping G5 spent stronger but thank you for changing my mind.

    The question is how does the bounce differ? What effect did changing the have with turf interaction? Interesting experiment tho

    • @tourqualitygolf
      @tourqualitygolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bounce changes by a 1:1 ratio either direction

    Is there a noticeable difference to the clubs being bent weak or strong? Like does it look natural or is it a bit off (at address/setup) ?

    • @tourqualitygolf
      @tourqualitygolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It honestly depends on how high you launch it whether you will notice a difference in longer irons. Bending it strong adds offset. Bending it weak takes it out.

  • @brucekristich4073
    @brucekristich4073 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    how does loft changing effect the offset visuals? does weakening the loft decrease offset? thanks bro

    • @tourqualitygolf
      @tourqualitygolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weakening the loft does decrease the appearance of offset and strengthening increases it.

    I’m a high ball hitter I would definitely make it stronger for me personally

    wouldnt bending them strong make the leading edge of the club dig into the ground in real grass? I would imagine that would be harder to manage. or is 2° not really going to make a difference with that?

    • @tourqualitygolf
      @tourqualitygolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It changes the bounce angle of the sole by a 1:1 ratio.

    You didn't say if the iron was forged or cast....?

    31 degree 7 iron...? Lol those are already strong off rip. Of course 29° isnt going to spin. Basically a 5 iron 🤦🏽‍♂️

    you were pure----ing it when you de-lofted it tho.

    • @tourqualitygolf
      @tourqualitygolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but it wasn’t flying very high and wouldn’t have stopped well especially on firmer greens. But yes I was striping it lol.

    An entire video of you hitting a bucket of range balls and calling out numbers?
