lol at all the 'you could just pay for it comments'. Sometimes when you hand over a bunch of clothes the shop assistant misses one of the tags and you only notice when you get home. You could go back to the store but sometimes it's far away or closed and you need the clothing item for an occasion etc.

My daughter bought some baby clothes in Turkey 🇹🇷… And one of the tags got left on… I actually thought it would be a good idea to take it back to the shop, To get it removed… ☀️ 🏖️ 👙… lol But realistically … We didn’t have a clue how to get it off.. You can’t just walk into some random store in the Uk, and ask them to remove it, They are going to think you have stolen it… Anyway… Thanks for the video, To sort out the problem.. 👍

This is so relevant to me, over the past month I received a few deliveries of clothes only to find that 3 of the pieces of clothing still had their security tags on!!! Had to drive an hour into Newcastle to have them removed. So thank you so much for this video Bill 😀 PS Each package arrived some time apart, so had to make that trip each time it happened 😞 Not now!

I’ve just come from another video of yours which I’ve searched high and low for on TH-cam (How to open a locked, closed security screen without a key) and now I’ve found another super helpful upload. I bought a really expensive top from a boutique years ago and when I got home I put it away for my son as it was for a couple of years later (it was a good buy just too big for him then). Little did I know it still had the security tag on! Naturally the store had closed by the time I pulled it out so I’ve been stuck with this top and nothing I could do with it. Well now I know!! I’ve left this comment because there are honest people like myself who have been caught put by staff leaving tags on.
I think you should re-share the lost key video as it is so helpful!!

This saved me! Thank you very much!! Mine had a small spring after cutting the top piece but once it's removed it had four small ball bearings exactly like 0:23.

There is a lot simpler way to do this and all you need is a strong magnet. I used a stud finder which has two strong magnets in it. Take the garment so that the pin is facing up and the body of the security tag is facing downwards. Put the magnet beneath the body of the tag and it will clamp onto the ball bearings. Then pull/wigging the pin upwards and out. Simple if you use science and gravity.

Just bought an outfit from a retail store. The cashier was going on and on about security tags on clothes & that the store's alarm system would go off if the security tag is left on. It was really irritating me cause it seemed like she was insinuating I had stolen something. Fast forward to once I made it home. There was a black security thing identical to this one. I did just as he said, & it worked perfectly! Thanks because I DID NOT want to go back & ask her to remove it...plus I was about 40 miles from the store!
