Hello Mr. Naudiyal There are numerous opportunities for a graduate engineer. However, if you want to continue working as an I.T engg, you can surely join the support staff of a shipping company. The team of I.T engineers aiding and providing communication platforms/products. Hope I cleared your doubts baba 😉🙌😃
@@ojusrawat : Yes Sir, it was pretty clear from your last reply..a big thank you for replying to my comment.. really appreciate that..so what I understood is that an IT engineer is not involved in sails..I that correct?
If you want to join the Deck side(deck Officer), go for IMU cet exam (after your 12th) and If you want to join in Engine side(Engineer) go for Marine engg. You can check out the below link for Eligibility criteria. www.imu.edu.in/
After graduating in Bsc Nautical science, you have to do sea time of 12 months. However if you go for DNS, then the sea time required after the course is 18 months. After Bsc, you will be having a graduate degree even before you join the ship for the first time. After DNS, you will have to give degree exams after you complete your sea time, once you clear those exams then you will be awarded with a BSC degree. You have to analyze what suits you best, then choose. All the very best.

Sir is this safe to travel in ocean and company ensure not to fire from job?
If an individual performs well in his/her rank and there are no disciplinary actions against him/her. There are no chances to get fire from the Job.
Does having tattoos make any effect when joining to merchant navy as any deck officer or a cadet?
As long as you are medically fit, there won't be any problem. Having a tattoo won't hamper your medical fitness, unless your skin area is healthy.
