It has been a VERY long time since I read the books but I think that Ares gave them a magical bag so the bolt would only appear in the bag once they got to the Underworld hence why they didn't notice it earlier.
The reason Kronos (Grim Reaper/Saturn/Father Time) is associated with sand is because before ticking clocks there were time turners. Kronos (chronology) is in pieces to represent the division of time in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years. The fact that Percy missed the solstice already points to the fact that maybe Kronos has already won, at least in some small way. Kronos eats his children like time eats up our lives.
@kokopium8003what’s great about that last line is that Percy is not afraid of time eating away at his life. He acknowledges, “We’re all dying,” like a boss.
We saw Hermes' powers and I believe that he let Annabeth steal from him, so someone like Luke would be able to steal the bolt easily with the right tools. If Chronos is running around in the underworld, he could have stolen the helm and given it to Ares who'd give it to Luke. I like how Hades is not evil, but just minding his own business. The actor playing Percy's brother played Death in Supernatural.
I think one thing you are not taking into consideration is that the invisible cap and the helmet of darkness are two different things even if they have the same function, they both render the person wearing it invisible. The helmet was stolen by someone a few days before the bolt was stolen (in the show). The thief, according to Hades at least in the show, used that to get the bolt during the solstice.
I'm thinking Annabeth's regrets may be about her relationship(or lack thereof) with her dad, which she had just been reminded of with Cerebus and the memories of the family dog
I mostly know Toby from Netflix's Lost In Space (which is super underrated imo), so I was really happy to see him as Poseidon. That scene between him and Sally was the best scene in the show imo, I actually cried 😭
Ares enchanted the Bolt to appear once they got close to Tartarus. Just like the shoes doing there thing. I love how Ares aurora just makes everyone around him angsty
Ngl this one felt a bit disjointed but I love every minute of it. Poseidon and sally crumbs, details on Annebeth’s past, hades introduction lmao, I love it
Yay! 42 minutes. One more episode. 😳 I remember when you and Tasha were the first to suspect The Deep's motives re Starlight. Julian Richings, Death on Supernatural.
I think Annabeth's regret has something to do with Thalia. Maybe it's about Thalia staying behind, and turning into a tree, so Annabeth and Luke could save themselves. 🤔
Remember in the casino, Hermes told Annabeth that she knew what it was like to know you and the person you love will keep hurting each other. Or something like that. I think that's got to be a clue about Annabeth's regret.
@@SM-BSW Very true. Since what Hermes showed Percy in that moment was about his mother, I thought Annabeth's memory would be about her father. But I guess it could be about anyone or anything.
11:10 LMAO, pleeease let us know who you meant from The Hunger Games! Also- your reactions to this show are my favorite. I suppose it’s because you haven’t read the books but you’re very intelligent and make particularly good guesses, while being funny af.
Can I pet that dawg! I like that Annabeth had the same instinct I would in that situation. It’s a giant DOG just play with it and give jt belly scratches!
the fact that Sally asks if Poseidon wants to talk to Percy, and then there's that rumble of thunder in warning.... 😭😭
Zues really said I wish you mf WOULD! my daughter is a whole ass tree. You better be glad I don't blow that mf up lol
Zues wasn't about to let that ish happen
Zeus is saying no
"Like an old ass crunchy Calvin"
I laughed more than I should have at that.

yes I think you are right, in the book, the bag became heavier when they get there if I remember correctly
yupp ares will probably tell them just before the fight
This is I’m pretty sure what happened
@@elliex9664yes
yes, that's what happens. He even says this in the episode! he says the bolt appeared in the bag
Fun fact: Toby Stephens (Poseidon) is Maggie Smith's (McGonagall) son. 😊😂 just wanted to put it out there
I know all about my wonderful man!
WHAT?!?!!! HOW DID I NOT KNOW!! That makes him even COOLER!
NOT CALVIN FROM BLINDWAVE HAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
Love your reactions! They are such a highlight of my week

I realized that while I was editing! I'm firmly sticking with Luke being the thief until proven otherwise!
Helm of darkness works against the gods too. The gods can see through annabeth a invisibility cap
You can't get much better Poseidon casting than James Flint himself, Toby Stephens lol. Still looking and sounding so good.
My heart will forever skip when I see that glorious man!
@@ManicMeeks same. He was amazing in Jane Eyre and as Flint he is absolute perfection.

Yes! I love seeing Toby in Dad roles in this and Lost in Space! ❤
@@TessaxMusic95 Yesss he's so good at these emotionally tortured estranged dad roles lol
Don't worry there's four more books to adapt into seasons.
and an entire second series with these characters as well as multiple other series in the same universe that could all be spinoffs!
The penultimate episode I can’t wait to discuss with you and ak this
MEEKS!!! Oh boy, when younger Percy said that to his mom, I was right there with you. LoL

What’s up, girl??? 🥰🥰 Can’t wait for your reaction! Loved this episode! Definitely a penultimate episode! 💙

So with the bolt in the bag it’s enchanted so that it wouldn’t show up until a certain point in the underworld
Another great reaction!!!!
Yes captain flint
Annabeths regret is to do with her family (at least that's what I think from remembering the books- been awhile though)
I think so too. Light spoiler: She'll give her neckclase to Percy next Episode, so i think that's when they'll Talk about it.
The dad is fathering!
In the words of Flint, "FFFIIIIIIRRRRREEE." *sigh, Toby, Toby, Toby... (as opposed to Tony! Toni! Tone!) It Feels Good

I figured out where crusty is from crusty, he used to play death on supernatural
19:41 Your sound cuts off until 20:30 ish.
Is it just me or your sound cuts off at 19:36
It does because of the music in the background. I REFUSE to re-edit and uploaded. I haz too much work. lol
@@ManicMeeks oh okay😆😆
not sure if anybody else has mentioned it but there's apparently a post credit scene in the finale fyi
audio muted 19:36- 20:22
Yeppers. Copyright music was playing in the background of the scene.

I think Annabeth's regret was leaving her father.
because I like a mess = #StraightFactsHomie!!!
Man that crusty scene was a big letdown I know it's disney and this is a kids show but still he was funny
Time limit. And yeah we can’t show bloody violence.
