Throgg starts in the Lair of the Troll Ki... oh wait, no sorry he starts somewhere else for some reason, and we must engaged in the bloody knife fight of Norscan politics which mostly involve beating up the boss to show them how your more of a boss than they are in part 1 of a brand new Immortal Empires Campaign as the Throgg the Troll King in Total War: Warhammer 3 Shadows of Change!

Your campaign videos are extremely comforting and soothing in pacing and tone, while also being extremely entertaining and goofy sometimes with the sassy commentary. Thank you for many chaotic days being salvaged and turned into relaxing nights because of your videos

It's important to know that Norsca's raiding stance costs no movement and reduces upkeep, so you want to use it as much as possible. They also have the fortified raiding stance that Greenskins have, which you should also use often.
Yay, another MonstersAbound campaign that puts the MONSTAHS front & centre! I'm still holding out hope for either a mod or a few new voice lines to bring Throgg's eloquence to the forefront.
Oh, & please don't get rid of Stig! When you beat him up & confederate, he realised he was in the presence of greatness, & became your first Acolyte!
I could be wrong but Singe's skills compilation isnt updated yet for 4.0, so Throgg should have more skills available at some point.

It's unfortunate that Trolls for the Trollking hasn't been and probably won't be updated for 4.0, I would loved to have seen that mod FINALLY get a spotlight with someone who has the audience to give it one. Still enthused to se this one unfold...once I've caught up with Hoplite's current no-commentary campaign...in only-The-Eagle-knows how many months from now

norscans have actually been updated in wh3. alongside other changes, one of them is that they can occupy Any settlement now although most of them are nowhere near as valuable as portual settlements, don't know if that change has been reverted but it should be that way
It sadly has not been reverted but it really should.
I'm stoked for this one! Played Throgg not long ago, and I found it better than it was in 2. Overall the economy is better than it use to be. I think by the end of my campaign I had 8 or so armies. Throgg Monstrous Menagerie is just a blast. All monster death ball of trolls, fimir, werekin, and heroes.

I don't think you've ever completed a Throgg campaign. If i remember your previous attempts fell foul of new updates and had to be abandoned. Looking forward to this. If only Norsca werent so underwhelming.
If i remember correctly you need to end turn in raiding stance because it lowers army upkeep significantly.

I love Throgg. Just make a Ice Troll doomstack and you can auto resolve about every fight
I was just thinking about doing another Throgg campaign a few days ago but then I remembered why I abandoned the first one I did: it was one of those awful campaigns where you're just constantly attacked from all sides and you can't get anything done. EVERYONE hates you and you can't defend your settlements plus the mechanics and quests of the Norsca encourage you to leave and go raiding and monster hunting but every time you do, you have to turn around and go back because some dickhead just sieged your capital. I think I rebuilt the same buildings in mine at least three times. The problem is that they were originally a horde faction but they changed them in Warhammer 3 to have settlements but they didn't change any of their mechanics or anything to adjust to the change. It's rough.

The fact Norsca has a better economy then Kislev still makes me laugh
I'm sorry but being immune to attrition is one the the best traits you can have because it means you rush headlong into areas with heavy corruption and not have to worry about slowly encamping through so your troops stay healthy

I've played this campaign in immortal empires and made the same deal with Hellpit skaven. I immediately discovered they held Troll King's Lair, but I couldn't see that because they're skaven. Hope that isn't the case for you in this situation.

norsca had a huge update when IE launch which made hem OP for a bit

Vanilla Throgg should't have humans in his army, he shouldn't be able to recruit marauders but have access to trolls starting at tier 2.
Artillery and thunderers at turn 5? How many cheats the devs give Kraka Drak?
Need to create Lord with stack of Doggos, Norsca and Khorne seam like a good factions for that, as Norsca you can add some Werewolves in the mix, as reinforcement army it would be great.
