That’s truly unfortunate 😢. A fossil that old especially of something as significant as Rodhocetus or Ambulocetus is an irreplaceable part of both India’s natural history and evolutionary science. These early whales are crucial to understanding how terrestrial mammals transitioned to life in the ocean. I only hope the efforts are on to recover it!
