Micro pistols are a unique class of firearm. In this episode, Henry has Josh shoot a variety of Beretta micro pistols including the new Beretta 30X. Josh isn't used to this type of firearm - will he be able to get hits with these subcompact setups?

Just guys being dudes, hell yeah.
Henry fucking -with- Josh is always the best thing to watch

Presumably Henry was fed up with being showered with brass.

"What sport do you play?"
"Oh only the most dangerous game..."
Very sporting purposes.
Henry: Josh, we’re on the range, put on your earpro
Josh: *does so*
Henry: (walks to the camera) hello everyone, today I’m gonna torture Josh

.32 was the traditional calibre for veterinary dispatch pistols, just saying 😉
You mean the ATF uses them?

"switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading"
That bag:
the new york carry special
That was true back when revolvers dominated not so much today.
Josh spotlighted why I carry my 81 Cheetah in .32 frequently. The speed that I can land multiple hits on target is impressive. And carrying a spare mag means I have 27 rounds available. And while soo many people decry the 32 as inadequate no one ever volunteers to stand in front of one.
Nobody's gonna stand in front of a .22 or a high powered air rifle either. Doesn't validate your confirmation bias.

Similar with me. I can mag dump a P238 without the sight picture shifting in any practical manner.

Between lucky gunners work and the fact that all the European countries fielded a .32acp in some capacity in WW1 lends credence to the .32acp. (Proud cheetah owner)
Henry being so happy trolling Josh is gold 😂
That bag of micro pistols reminds me of the Jetfire Jim post. Run out of ammo? Simply pull out another micro pistol 😂

how do we convince beretta to start making the 71 again (with wood grips, a smooth dust cover, 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel, and removable suppressor height sights)… like can we start a petition or something? i would instantly buy. cool video, guys
Nothing like a really short sight radius to show you how your trigger press and grip squeeze movement can pull left at the moment of trigger break.
This is Henry's revenge for Josh always spraying him with hot brass.

Speaking of hearing safe. I went to the range with my wife's grandfather a few weeks ago to shoot a 9mm pistol. He was an Army Colonel back in the 1970s. I handed him some hearing protection and he just said, "It isn't loud." and proceeded to not wear them. Lol. From a different time. He's nearly deaf btw. I sure do wonder why.
‘Whipping out a bunch of guns I didn’t know we were going to shoot’ is how most of my range excursions with a new friend go. Haha
Those are for fishing. You keep them in the tackle box or fly fishing vest in case you encounter aggressive snakes and muskrats while out fishing. The suppressor is so you don't scare the fish with loud noises.
Alt title for the episode: Henry's Shit-eating Grin.
It only took 22 minutes before Henry actually shot one of these pistols how they are designed to be shot. One handed!

Lol you can tell that Josh is just having the time of his life with these handguns
One of the times in his life.

"So for this next stage, you're shooting a Fatah commander in the back of the head as he leaves his mistress' house in 1970s Beirut, ok?"
"Shooter ready? Standyby..."
Goddamn, son, I LIKE THE CUT OF YOUR JIB!!
Some buddies and I definitely did *not* set up a post-Munich scenario to test my 21a. We certainly did not start with the pistol in hand and the silencer dismounted and in a pocket.
And of course, since we *didn't* do any of these things, I can't tell you that the Beretta 21a performed very well indeed.
If you’ve got an in with beretta tell them to bring back the Beretta 87 Target
That would be amazing.
You can find a used one for less than 200 bucks
@@PapaSchultz74 …could, the Charles doesn’t buy used guns.
As an enthusiast of full sized, steel framed competition Berettas, I've never felt an opening troll hit quite like this. I understand Josh. I understand.
Thanks for the transparency announcement at the front of the video
Don't forget, before M made him upgrade to the PPK, Bond's pistol of choice was a Beretta in .25acp! 😄
And in the books, it was an upgrade to the Walther PPK in 7.65mm Browning aka .32ACP.
For the movies, they used Walther PPK in 9mm Kurtz aka .380ACP because of the reliability of the blank ammo they were using.
@@joenull5945Nope - Bond gets the PPK in Dr No and has it for all subsequent Fleming novels. As to the .38 PPK/S, yes, but plenty of .32 PPK examples saw use in the movies too.
@@skepticalbadgerwasn't the pistol Bond gets in the '62 Dr. No film a Walther PP?

Henry can shoot.
I bet he would be a great drinking companion also
My Beretta 81 with Lok Grips is my carry gun.
Never realized Henry was such a 32 Fiend! 🤭Much Respect
Henry's range bag seems quite refined and gentlemanly
Henry: tortures Josh with guns he doesn’t want to shoot.
Also Henry: shows up Josh shooting one handed.
Beyond gold. Platinum at least.
Henrys' evil giggle was hilarious. Excellent episode. That last Scorpion?? made josh look like Quasimodo when he shot it! lmfao! I don't know how you can top this one Henry...maybe only with pistol crossbow s or small blowguns. Please find a Blaser TAC or LSR2 for both Marksman and Speedway! THAT in Henry's hand I would LOVE to see!
I've noticed all of my pp , ppk ,ppks are accurate . I'm retired but the last place I worked wouldn't allow firearms so I carried a PPK with a FOBUS for 12 years 😎
This will make for a great garand thumb video; testing mouse guns from 380 all the way down to 17 hmr
Or something for Garand and .22 man ;)
@9-Hole Reviews
You know what's great about these "just at the range" videos you're doing now?
They allow the true depth and warmth of your friendship to show itself, and that is a beautiful thing to behold.
When you're on the Practical accuracy videos you're both "working" and that results in focus clipped exchanges, this format allows your friendship to shine, and personally IMHO your friendship is one of the secret sauces that has made the channel such a success.
What was that from the cheap seats?

thanks man. People don't know, but Josh was my best man when I married the love of my life. :) -Henry
Never seen so much expression behind sunglasses.
I think to this day the most fun I had on a range was with a full auto scorpion. Practically no recoil and just endless fun.
So Josh is a size queen
I do shenanigans like this with my range pals all the time. It's always fun.
I can just see Henery giggling while packing mags before the range trip.
practical acuracy test when? 🤣
Cool! I carry a little keltec32 all the time!
:D that was fun, thanks guys, love your content
Loved this one 😊
I just picked up the canik mete mc9. Its slick. Tiny bit snappy. Trigger is kickass. Red dot ready. Plenty of capacity. I love it.
My grandfather had a Beretta 950 Minx in .22 short that was honestly a really fun gun to shoot. Basically made "pew" noises when you shot it. Accuracy was non-existent.
The pocket .32's seem useful for targets that don't shoot back or are caught "unaware".
I got a rough 21b from gb for 220 with 2 mags it’s my edc every hr of the day super accurate and fits my front pocket I love it.
Gentlemanly Concealed Carry.
You guys crack me up. I love my Beretta mousers! I carry a 950 B in .25 ACP in a Galco ankle holster as a BUG. I also have a 21A in .22 LR. Beautiful little guns. I will get the 30X soon. Which suppressors do you guys like for that little pocket rocket? And I agree, T-Rex Arms needs to make some 30X holsters, suppressor-ready and optics-ready! Let’s go!!
This is nice thank you
Love those berettas ❤good video and info, thanks
Lol. Trust me guys. When these little Tomcat gets hot you don't want to play with the tilt up barrel cuz you burn your hand. It's super hard to rack the slide when the hammer is forward unless you have like..120 pounds grip strength or something and if you're not careful the slide can also cut you when you're racking it. I learn that when at the range having fun and when the gun gets too hot I cock the hammer back it will be much easier to rack the slide. These guns are more of the..."Get off me bro" and hope that 7+1 will solve the problem asap because the guns are not that great for rapid reload. I also learn that when gripping these little pea shooter I had to resort to some sort of revolver grip. Two thumbs humping down.
Awesome review guys. 🤣 This little firearm looks fun to shoot. I definitely will consider getting one soon.
Love my small berettas, 71 and 80X
I just got that Allegheny threaded cheetah barrel, SICK
Sorry for being late on this. Usage: for some reason a lot of local Probation Officer would carry them. They were not issued pistols, so they would get their own, and they would carry 32 acp Tomcats. The Tomcat is my go to church gun on Sundays, with a bigger pistol in the car.
.32acp Walther PP is such a classic Bond gun too
Loved this! But I was hoping that Josh went deeper in comparing the shoot ability of the 22 pistols VS the 32 pistols
We need a Beretta 30X run
Beretta APX gen 1, amazingly reliable, fine accuracy and dependable functions with any ammo you want to feed it.
4:35 Nah, nuh-uh, nope and nix. I know it's super unlikely and perhaps even not possible for the pistol to go off there but seeing a part of his hand slip in front of the muzzle gave me the ickies.
When life (Henry) give you (Josh) micro pistols you shoot. You can't refuse.
Use case: Fishing. Use as sinkers... Especially the Walthers.
Subcompacts are neat. Automatics though are the only thing that seems useful in 32acp for self defense. My hands also are just not suited for subcompacts(two finger grip for G19, G17 for a full grip).
I'd have been really impressed if you had hauled out a VZ-27, a Ruby, and an Ortgies for him to shoot and compare.
The caliber that changed the world for ever.. Crazy stuff but I want lol
Henry trolling HARD
Bobcats are only slightly ok to dry-fire, because the firing pin stop is an anemic 1mm roll pin. Manual says not to. But obviously any semi-auto without last round bolt catch can't go and fall apart immediately when you lose count of fired rounds.
VZ61 shown! Lets goooooo!
This video has been hilarious to watch.
Is that a B&T TP9 I see in the background?
you need to do a ar9 practical accuracy test
And an extar ep9
That thing is a friggin' powerhouse boys. I want it.
Makes me look even more fondly on my CZ-27
I love how people have such a hard time adjusting their grip for a smaller gun like this. Gotta adapt.
Please bring 80X next time 🙂
you should of gotten the tip up barrel girson in 380 in gold just to make him shoot it
they could call it the 'happy to see you' holster, make it for concealed carry
they already make suppressor carriers
@@9HoleReviews but is it happy to see me?
I like your range shooting
Blochin's bag of reloads ... 😎
I need a threaded barrel and suppressor height sights for my Beretta 81.
Favourite of Israeli Air Marshalls
The two of you are trained to the point where pistol handling is an ingrained reflex. Both of you kept working the slides on the tilt barrel pistols. Just flip the barrel up. Easy to see if it is loaded. Place a round in the chamber. Lay it on the table with the barrel open and it is safe.
Some Italians I know could find a use for those fine pieces of Italian craftsmanship
@ 22:40 - boioioing LOL
this would be a fun way to introduce new shooters to guns
You need to walk up and check all the rim-hits from the PP....
12:24 never let em know you're next move.
