How do I modify a 12V 433MHz wireless remote control switch relay receiver and transmitter? Someone in the area (neighbor) is using the same frequency.
I have a similar wireless relay and I rigged it up, and i have noticed I have another device nearby that when I use its remote it triggers this wireless receiver. Do you know if there is anything I can do to stop that from happening.
can you use this on cars , ive just one remote on my car and i need another one , if possible can you show how to do it . thank you ! great educational vids btw
To make it momentary I believe you have to either use a different relay in the controller/reprogram it but I don't know how to do that with this specific unit
i still do not understand how to wire this for what i am trying to do, i do not want to use the same power supply for the thing that i am trying to control as i am going to be using for the power to the board itself ,so of those 3 relay terminals NC, NO and COM, when i hit the button on the remote do i get continuity between any 2 of those terminals?if so which ones, NO and COM or NC and COM right? i just want to be able to wire the 2 power terminals of this RC board to the positive and negative terminals of a battery or transformer to power the RC board then connect 2 wires from the circuit i am trying to control to those terminals and use it in place of a physical switch, the circuit i am trying to control has it's own power and it is not 12v it is a different lower voltage so can i switch something with this without having to connect any of those 3 terminals bridged with the power supply if the circuit i am trying to control has it's won power supply?
yes thanks i figured it out my next question is is there a way to alter the remote FQ so that i can buy more relays without having to buy more remotes ?so i can get different FQ's to control more relays i had a 433mhz universal garage door remote with dip switches in it but the relays won't learn from it the relays won't learn from a bunch of other 433mhz remotes i have either, i thought the 1st relay was broken then i ordered another one and a remote and got it working finally guess it will only learn 433mhz remotes with certain chip sets one idea i had was building an RF TX/RX for the PC , i saw plans for one using a cheap $2 USB soundcard and a super hetrodyne TX/RX set ,read the code from my relay remote with it and alter it a little with the software(forgot what it is called and never used it before but i assume it would be possible) then TX it back after altering it a little or is there a remote that has a way you can change FQ so you can get more than 4 different FQ to control more than 4 different relays, the reason i want to do this is because i do not plan on using the relay remotes because i have a broadlink RM pro, it's a wifi universal remote hub you control with a cell phone so i would use the universal remote hub and my phone and the app instead (hub does IR and 433mhz RF)
Joel Chaffen yes, you just splice the output wire of this controller to the accessory wire on the switch, then you can use either the switch or the wireless controller
The ground wire just goes to any ground anywhere in the vehicle, like a bolt or screw in the body/frame or just wire it to the negative battery terminal
Great explanation
Thank you.
Finally a video that explains it in plain speak 👍

Thank you very good video, I was worry about my car battery to be drain over night but now I can go and install this.
Thank you! I could not figure out what the 3rd "normally closed" was for as mine came with no institutions :)
Thank you. That's the only vedio I've seen that explains it.

Hey mate great info, I was just wondering can you press 2 buttons on the remote to activate 2relays at the same time?
If I'm running at 800W light bar I can hook the remote Relay up to Trigger the light bars relay since the lightbar draw so much power ?
I have a similar wireless relay and I rigged it up, and i have noticed I have another device nearby that when I use its remote it triggers this wireless receiver. Do you know if there is anything I can do to stop that from happening.
Hi Bro,
Will i able to connect gear motor
3.5 to 6v motor?
How do you hook up color changing LEDs that has 3 wires
Can I use it for my gate opener? Can I use my car battery directly, it 12v 75amps?
What is the name of this setup and where can I buy it
ever had an issues with de-latching/turning off from a distance ?
Can I use this for a remote start on a portable generator
Could you use this module to make a remote start for a car?
Where can I buy this wireless relay?
can you use this on cars , ive just one remote on my car and i need another one , if possible can you show how to do it . thank you ! great educational vids btw
Fitting led flashers to triumph t120
Can the relays be set to momentary?
To make it momentary I believe you have to either use a different relay in the controller/reprogram it but I don't know how to do that with this specific unit
i still do not understand how to wire this for what i am trying to do, i do not want to use the same power supply for the thing that i am trying to control as i am going to be using for the power to the board itself ,so of those 3 relay terminals NC, NO and COM, when i hit the button on the remote do i get continuity between any 2 of those terminals?if so which ones, NO and COM or NC and COM right? i just want to be able to wire the 2 power terminals of this RC board to the positive and negative terminals of a battery or transformer to power the RC board
then connect 2 wires from the circuit i am trying to control to those terminals and use it in place of a physical switch, the circuit i am trying to control has it's own power and it is not 12v it is a different lower voltage
so can i switch something with this without having to connect any of those 3 terminals bridged with the power supply if the circuit i am trying to control has it's won power supply?
Yes you can. Just choose NO-COM or NC-COM and make sure the voltage of the power supply is suitable for the relay (120V or 220V).
yes thanks i figured it out
my next question is is there a way to alter the remote FQ so that i can buy more relays without having to buy more remotes ?so i can get different FQ's to control more relays
i had a 433mhz universal garage door remote with dip switches in it but the relays won't learn from it
the relays won't learn from a bunch of other 433mhz remotes i have either, i thought the 1st relay was broken then i ordered another one and a remote and got it working finally
guess it will only learn 433mhz remotes with certain chip sets
one idea i had was building an RF TX/RX for the PC , i saw plans for one using a cheap $2 USB soundcard and a super hetrodyne TX/RX set ,read the code from my relay remote with it and alter it a little with the software(forgot what it is called and never used it before but i assume it would be possible) then TX it back after altering it a little
or is there a remote that has a way you can change FQ so you can get more than 4 different FQ to control more than 4 different relays,
the reason i want to do this is because i do not plan on using the relay remotes because i have a broadlink RM pro, it's a wifi universal remote hub you control with a cell phone so i would use the universal remote hub and my phone and the app instead
(hub does IR and 433mhz RF)
All I know is there's no system where a master remote that can operate on several equipment.
Can we use this to control a rover
I can see NO COM NC. You use com & NO what do you use NC.. or what is it used for?
I've got a 32 inch led bar would it work on the relay ?
Joel Chaffen yes, you just splice the output wire of this controller to the accessory wire on the switch, then you can use either the switch or the wireless controller
what are you using to power it?
Just use a 12V DC power source, like your car's battery or a DC power supply
Where does the ground wire go?
The ground wire just goes to any ground anywhere in the vehicle, like a bolt or screw in the body/frame or just wire it to the negative battery terminal
Sir ..i want bind pairing tutorial..please
I have that one but i want to change the mode .please
When you pressed 2 buttons together in alternate mode, it heywired. While the other 2 buttons pressed are ok. They are badly programmed.
good
Thanks
nice
Remote is not connecting
How do you make it so the ABC or D button is just a momentary button like for a horn button.
