A balbo shouldn't have such a chin strap. Everything between the sideburn area and a line along the imagined progression of the mustache down you cheeks and into a neck line should be shaved. It is a circle beard extended with some side chin not a chin strap
well .. italo balbo wore this beard a few different ways. Sometimes he had the beard extending further across the jawline, other times it was much shorter like a goatee. He def had the chin hair longer though. I would say anything is in a balbo range as long as the mustache isn't connected andmost of the cheeks are shaved.

not a real balbo. balbo had the chin part much longer, not a sharp line on the jaw but a fade.

He went way to high under the chin and jaw, WAY too high! Giving it that chinstrap look. You should rarely if ever go that high IMO
