For those of you bitching about Wade not giving you the secret sauce:
    1. He doesn't have to. He invested the time and money to find the best loads.
    2. What he is doing is 100% proprietary!
    The reasons it's proprietary are:
    1. We all know the steps needed to produce ammo. But the ORDER in which they are done and what steps are done and not done matters A LOT for peak performance.
    2. Big ammo manufacturers don't have access to all components. Wade does. (Hornady can't load Nosler bullets or use Top shelf brass, etc)
    3. Big ammo manufacturers use automated machines that CAN'T use certain powders. Wade loads all the precision stuff on a single stage. As it should be. So he has no limitations.
    4. Big ammo manufacturers skip certain steps of case prep. (Chamfering and deburing and others)
    5. Big ammo manufacturers test everything through a "Test barrel," bolted to a bench. Which has NOTHING to do with field results fired by humans. Wade tests his ammo through ACTUAL RIFLES, that the ammo will be used in, fired by an actual human.
    6. Big ammo manufacturers often make component decisions based on the bottom line (using out of spec, discounted powders). Wade doesn't do that. Making compromises isn't a smart business decision for a boutique ammo manufacturer. Reputation and performance are king.
I could go on. The point is, what he's doing takes a shit ton of work and resources. It IS PROPRIETARY and he doesn't owe it to any of you, for free.
So don't come on here and shit talk him because your shit doesn't shoot, and you want him to spoon feed you the answers. It ain't gonna happen.
Go do the work and figure it out.

I must have gotten lucky with my 300BLK. I haven’t had any trouble at all getting at least 3 rounds to touch at 100 yards. Sub sonic and supersonic. Flat base bullets shoot phenomenal in my 10.5” ballistic advantage barrel and the 190gr sub x’s shoot under 1 Moa. Accurate 1680 is accurate but extremely gassy and dirty. My favorite has been around 10gr of IMR 4227. It’s extremely quiet and shoots really clean. This powder is also now super hard to find and super expensive go figure

You’re acting like you are producing your own special powder and making your own projectiles lol. There’s nothing you’re doing that is special buddy, you buy brass, primers, powder and projectiles just like anyone else and there’s absolutely no “big” ammo producers that can’t pull the projo out and test the powder to see what it is, they sure ain’t paying you to know! I’d bet I could pull one and make a very close if not exact guess. Every rifle I’ve ever hand loaded for I’ve developed a load for, they’re all different, you can’t have one load that is perfect for every rifle, even two back to back made same model and that’s what it seems you’re insinuating. I’d say you are careful about your powder weight and seating depths of primer and projo and that’s awesome but man you’re full of it with this proprietary nonsense.

@@shanek6582 think what he is getting at is all the different barrels/firearms he runs or tests it in he has to find the upper end of the middle ground. Something they can all eat and do well if you will. Nobody ever said you can’t pop the pill and weigh powder and whatever else. Have at it

@@txpredatorhunting just going to insult without giving an example of how I’m wrong lol. You talk for nearly an hour about how special and proprietary your ammo is without actually saying anything. You must have been a used car salesman before this. There’s nothing proprietary about your components, presses, or the combination. There’s no special load that’s going to work equally well in every rifle but that’s what you’re insinuating.

When you say your “machines” throw ball powder better than extruded, I’m betting they are Dillon 1050s /1100s with Mark 7 auto drives. If you’re rich, they might even be all Mark 7 machines. No need to be secretive about the machines, there aren’t that many makers.

How do you pressure test your ammo?

    • @jamesdaniel6081
      @jamesdaniel6081 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

There is a disclaimer statement that says the buyer of the ammo should check for signs of pressure with the first round fired. This is because the ammo is loaded hotter the factory offerings. So “we” are the pressure testers I guess.
