The design isn't anywhere a formal suit. The car looks modern and sporty and the wheels suit it just fine. Looks wise, Tata has actually done a good job.
Am an extremely satisfied customer of Tata Nexon now for 4 years.Curvv has a fantastic road presence .If they can replicate the success of Nexon in Curvv that would be wonderful.The extra boot space is a good improvement.Both Tata and Mahindra are giving foreign brands a run for their money in safety and quality now.They are not bought now because they are Indian brands but because of their fantastic product quality and safety ratings.
I used to be a fan boy of Tata and Mahindra but after seeing how the tata and mahindra dealerships have been treating their customers, I feel it is need of the hour that fanboys and influencers start putting a collective pressure on them regarding the same ignoring their so called value for money USP. Dark Edition works as mid cycle update for Tata which typically comes about 6-9 months after initial launch of the product. In this hyper-competitive space, these editions serve as a strategy to keep up the buzzzz in the news, create a perception for consumers of a refreshed product, and maintain relevance in this crowded market. Lately even the Europeans are following it, as seen with VW's Virtus Oman Edition, Sport Edition, Sound Edition....
Citron BASALT is the best at its price & quality.. most of the flimsy features are NOT required. Curvv DIESEL DCA also will be good at a higher price range.

Well said. Basalt is more VFM, it has the right comfort and looks and ride quality. It lacks the sevice network , and given that it’a new brand I think they will pick up slowly if the features are slowly introduced.

The pricing is great, 400km real world for 19 lakh is a steal. Hyundai ionic gives almost the same range for almost 50 L . Good work tata. Let's just appreciate them for the effort.

See I appreciate Tata for trying. I really do. But when we start focusing on things which improve the driving capable cars which are better at handling, steering, more family friendly, better seats instead of just give gimmick features. I think they should work on getting the basics right and then go for everything. It'll make the cars even amazing

Nope. It's Mahindra. They are doing pretty good in Australia and South Africa as well. Tata left Australia 2-3 times by now. Tata as a brand improved a lot in last 10 years but still a long way to go especially with small niggles and service issues. Really hope they'll keep getting better 🙌🏽

Middle passenger gets 3 point seat belt but no adjustable headrest because it doesn't contribute to ncap rating. Similarly no rear wiper and defogger as standard. Tata too cuts corner in safety and offers safety kit that only requires them to add points in ncap.
For Indians to fully comply towards EV, it'll take time until the Charging infrastructure is set properly and made sure that in a highway there's one station in every 40-50 km at least, and not just a station but a hotel as well where people can go and have some food until their car is charged. And the chargers must be DC fast chargers which can charge the car upto 80% in under 40 mins. If this happens, then it'd make more sense to buy an EV in India.

This is so far the flagship EV and probably the best EV from Tata Motors. Smashing looks in coupe form is the eye catcher. For my height, I'm sure this will be very spacious and will buy this solely for the way the looks is and the way it is proportioned. I didn't liked the idea of having cupholders in the glovebox though.
I'm sorry,but it looks like a cushion has been placed underneath Nikhil's bottoms. Why is he seated so high that the head restraints, despite being pulled up, isn't able to cover his head entirely? Is it not very ideal for tall people?

The main pain point is their subpar service. So even if the car is the best of the best. It will give you headaches and frustration that you have never felt before -an existing Nexon (facelift) owner
I am having too much of a buyers remorse, brought a Punch EV 3 months back, love it but its real-world 240 km to 90% range is too tight for me for highway use which is my primary use, already have done 12k kms and a 350kms real world EV would have been perfect for me. Looking at these prices what a miss for me, Kudos Tata you are epic!!!

Hats off for trying something new. However, lots of misses. Poor rear leg room, value proposition is too close to Nexon. This product will eat into existing Nexon sales and wont make a dent on Hyundai,Kia, Maruti, Toyota sales. Tata should focus on improving reliability and service experience. They should have launched the Sierra at this spot. Curvv will not find significant numbers without killing Nexon sales.

I checked the cruvv today, Looks bulky and aggressive but no comfortable rear seat feels cramped, Front seats are good but i felt more comfort in nexon rear than this
1350 kgs & 2550mm wheelbase means all that weight transferring to the rear while accelerating from where it needs to be pushed but is actually being pulled from the front‼️ Of course it misses the emotions while accelerating ‼️ Which is why EVs need to be RWD.

Why are the front DRLs not consistent? Sometimes the light bar is off, other times the entire front DRLs aren’t on.

I am having too much of a buyers remorse, brought a Punch EV 3 months back, love it but its real-world 240 km to 90% range is too tight for me for highway use which is my primary use, already have done 12k kms and a 350kms real world EV would have been perfect for me. Looking at these prices what a miss for me, Kudos Tata you are epic!!!

@@vm-my6hg you need to use it, its amazing, I usually drive a diesel with almost 8 lakh km under my belt in these past 20 years, I feel a curve LR is the perfect car to get!
Bruh who buys EV for highway use? You were fooled by marketing. Be happy that people can actually sit at your rear seat unlike this Tata Curvv which is made for kids in rear seat. I hope you don’t get any issues though because Tata is horrible at fixing things

Hats off for trying something new. However, lots of misses. Poor rear leg room, value proposition is too close to Nexon. This product will eat into existing Nexon sales and wont make a dent on Hyundai,Kia, Maruti, Toyota sales. Tata should focus on improving reliability and service experience. They should have launched the Sierra at this spot. Curvv will not find significant numbers without killing Nexon sales.

Looks bulky and aggressive but no comfortable rear seat feels cramped,
Front seats are good but i felt more comfort in nexon rear than this

I like the product it looks good in design/brochure and price but i am skeptical about quality issues and after sales service
1350 kgs & 2550mm wheelbase means all that weight transferring to the rear while accelerating from where it needs to be pushed but is actually being pulled from the front‼️ Of course it misses the emotions while accelerating ‼️ Which is why EVs need to be RWD.
