Hawai’i is an island (the big island), this is the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Your family being “in” the Hawaiian Kingdom at or prior to 1893 does not mean they were Hawaiian Subjects, they would have had to have naturalized and become Hawaiian subjects (citizens) or been of kānaka maoli descent. The overwhelming vast majority of foreigners did not do that, therefore you would not inherit Hawaiian citizenship via them.
If they were of the tiny minority however who did naturalize, we have records of it and will be able to verify that.

@@Hittdogg17 do you know the seven sacred valleys on the big island of Hawaii were actually populated by native Americans from British Columbia Canada you know the wailing fleet they were all trading with each other the Japanese the Russians the Alaskans the Pacific Northwest Native Americans they were all trading amongst each other and the Hawaiian islands was where they would follow the whales to head to Japan and Russia and back around the horn of Alaska down back home to the Pacific Northwest. When people from below the equator came to the Hawaiian islands they murdered their navigators so that nobody could go home then they started to eradicate the indigenous peoples of the Hawaiian islands. What happened to the menehune the people from the islands who inhabited the Hawaiian islands around the same time that the Japanese, Russians Alaskans and Pacific Northwest Native Americans. Sorry, I am not Dr Sai, he doesn’t have any social media… heck he rarely answers his emails… the only way you can really get in touch with him is if you know his phone #.
As for a legal pathway to attain Hawaiian Kingdom passports, that’s depends on your definition of legal. It’s unlikely that foreign countries will recognize it as valid, neither will anywhere that accepts a passport as identification.
Technically Hawaiians have been able to attain Hawaiian Kingdom passports for around a decade or maybe more. You can technically self declare whatever country you want when applying for a passport. There used to be videos up on it here on TH-cam, I’m not sure if they’re still up. My cousin has had one for over a decade I believe.

As a Hawaiian learning my true narrative thru established evidence of facts of the continued existence of our Hawaiian Kingdom frees me as Hawaiian in finally understanding my identity of why I never felt American. Though voting American is de facto, the current reality is American controlled. I'd rather there be prosecutor as the next American president than a convicted felon. Mahalo for the insights shared thru an educational lens. I enjoyed the fact that the presentation was factual and non judgemental.

    • @Alahulapuuloakealahelenokaahu
      @Alahulapuuloakealahelenokaahu 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

You think that kamamala would be a better choice than His Excellency, who you call a felon? Did you follow the case and trial? Do you know anything about the American judicial system and due process and what a fair trial is, or should be like? From your anti Trump bias and the brainwashing that is the result of it, it would be better for Americans and their country that you don’t participate in this American election, which as a Hawaiian subject you should not be doing anyway, unless you have a factual and legal basis to claim American citizenship-place of hanau and blood relationship to Americans. That is if you care enough about what Keanu has presented to act in accordance with it. Vice-President Harris’s economic related policy proposals have a very long historical record of failure, consistently to the extent of making it predictable. The latest time that the American government adopted price controls was as the result of President Nixon’s call for them to be implemented, in 1971. They failed to succeed in controlling prices because when an external market source-in this example government, causes a disturbance in the supply demand relationship that has nothing to do with market forces, the market will make an adjustment, the adjustment being reduced production and higher prices-the exact opposite of what price controls were supposed to accomplish. The Vice-President’s other economic related proposal is to give each first time home buyer twenty-five thousand dollars. Ask any real estate salesperson what the result of that would be, and ask as many as you can. These are just a couple of reasons that the Vice-President is absolutely not a better choice for Americans and their country to be Chief Executive of their government.

Such great info - mahalo nui to you both for delving into this subject. I have so many questions!! 1. I was born in 1974 in Honolulu, HI. I am of partial aboriginal Hawaiian blood (Kamehameha c/o '92). When you talk about the benefits to the Native Hawaiian (e.g., land ownership, health care, etc.) - am I a Native Hawaiian? 2. If I have a U.S. Passport, am I a dual citizen of Hawaii and America? 3. I love the law that allows for land ownership rights for Native Hawaiians. If you finally succeed in getting deoccupation, what happens to all the current landowners in Hawai'i? Is there enough land to allow for the 1893 land ownership law? I know I get plany more questions... but I'll start with these... 🙂

Excellent video, but it raises some interesting questions about whether an independent state such as the Hawaiian Kingdom can be colonized. Dr. Sai cites Algeria at 47:25 as an example of a French "colony" that eventually wins its independence from France. Yet a Treaty of Peace and Friendship was signed between the United States and the Regency of Algiers on 5 September 1795 -- thereby recognizing Algeria as an independent state 35 years before Algeria became a French colony. During the French colonial period, the United States ignored Algerian sovereignty over its territory and instead recognized French sovereignty over Algeria just as the world recognizes American sovereignty over Hawaii since August 12, 1898. Therefore, while I agree that de-occupation of Hawaii is the correct strategic approach for preserving the status quo prior to 1898 or even prior to 1893 - especially for purposes of bringing and settling certain claims against the United States - decolonization is another option for Hawaiians to pursue based on French colonies that were previously recognized as independent states. Morocco and Madagascar are other examples. In the case of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the aboriginal people and their descendants have ultimate sovereignty over Hawaiian territory, as illuminated by Kamehameha III in Hawaii's first constitution. The monarch is merely a representative of the people. Thus, if the Hawaiian people decide to act together to supersede Hawaiian Kingdom law and to form new domestic laws via constitutive referendum in accordance with international norms, they have the political prerogative to do so, with or without the assistance of other countries. This is precisely what happened in Iraq in 2005.

Aloha from Pu'u Honua O Pi'iholo, Maui Nei, Hawaiian Kingdom SMK!
A very enlightening interview. AS FAR AS IT GOES! The horizontal "critical thinking" theory; in others words, the human solutions, whether "legal or illegal" "righteous or unrighteous," does not address the foundational issue, which is the "ignorance," or "ingoring of" the
spiritual root of the problem! There can be NO solution to the issues brought forth in these two wonderful interviews, without understanding the cause of the problem which extends pre-contact, and is entrenched in the human soul! And only the one who created us can make it Pono again! There is a declaration that states unequivocally in Genesis 3:15, that says, "And I [our Creator] will put enmity between you and the "woman," and between your seed and her seed, it shall crush your head, and you shall bruise His heel!" Now, only He who can put that enmity between us - can remove it! ALL other attempts to "remove the enmity" is doomed to failure! And I mean ALL! Your friend and brother in Christ, Maka'ala Stone

These are the only good/useful episodes of this podcast. Keep it aloha is all bootless platitudes until Sai shows up and starts speaking truth. Not even Kamaka can both sides the issue of occupation when Sai is in the room.

It’s how an individual sees (understands) if it is! Of course it is restored! Now It has to be re-established, right?❤

@@mayfrasonsier the government is somewhat restored but the RCI does not have effective control of the territory, so, no. not yet

@@showmethetreaty @gertrudezanegkz trick question. you're both wrong, even according to Sai. According to him, and the law he touts so often, sovereignty has never been extinguished, so doesn't need to be restored.
I argue, and I'm sure many will agree to some extent, that sovereignty only means anything insofar as it can be exercised in a tangible way, in which case the Hawaiian Kingdom has none. It has no civil body politic (citizens or subjects), and therefore has no representative government, unless you count the self-appointed RCI or regents. It also has no control over the lands it might claim sovereignty over. Those lands are being held "in-trust" (whatever that means) by other entities in the US government. And, to top it all off, most other nations recognize American sovereignty over Hawaii, and have since before WWII.

I think your confusing decolonization and independent nation states
Algeria having a treaty with 1 country means nothing, you need recognition and treaties among all the world powers, Hawaiian kingdom has these treaties and actually helped Japan and china come to the table prior they were secondary countries to Britain, USA, and Hawaiian kingdom.
