Thanks for watching this week's video! Attending a Krampus run was definitely on our bucket list and the experience didn't disappoint. We really want to go to the one in Salzburg in the future. We have another Christmas video coming out, so don't miss it. Do you have any strange Christmas traditions in your country? Let us know in the comments! 🎄😃 - Brandon & Anja
Always funny to see peopl from otjer countries reacting to this tradition. As a teen it was always the most fun to goad the Krampus into goint for a hit. Kinda like a test of courage that all Austrian need to go trough at least once XD
Anja is German, but this is DEFINITELY not a tradition she grew up with..hahaha. I actually told her about it. She had never even heard about it. We're so glad we were able to take part. Even if they beat the hell out of us! Haha.
It was a lot of fun! Minus freezing our asses off. 🥶 I just wish we had better equipment to catch it in all its glory! Our nighttime footage is 🗑. Hahaha.
Ihr müsst das Verhackerte auf ein frisches Schwarzbrot schmieren. Am besten noch mit Salz, Pfeffer und ein paar rohen Zwiebelscheiben. Liebe Grüße aus Graz 😊
Haha, danke! So hätte es vielleicht etwas besser geschmeckt. Machen wir beim nächsten Mal. Brandon hat das Glas aber letztendlich trotzdem alle gemacht, aber er hat es hauptsächlich zum Braten benutzt 😂
It was hard to find appropriate music, given the massive contrast between the first part of the video, and the Krampus portion of the video..so thanks! Haha. You've got to go one year. It was a lot of fun. If we went again, we'd like to go to a city that has a more "open" concept where they run around freely. Much easier to film that way!
Merry Christmas
Doch, Krampus gibt's in Österreich und in Süddeutschland bzw. Bayern. In München gibt es auch so einen Krampuslauf jedes Jahr 😊. Wir kennen das eben in Berlin nicht 😂. Aber theoretisch ist Krampus bei uns mit Knecht Ruprecht ersetzt.
Guys! This video is awesome. So cool you got to experience that. The whole Krampus story or myth is so interesting and the costumes were wicked looking. 👹
The costumes were absolutely amazing! I would love to own one of those Krampus masks. It was definitely an awesome experience, even if we left battered and bruised. 😵
Right?! It was so freakin' weird. They were like perfect, little snowflakes. ❄️ Hahaha. Bucket list beating! We were super happy to participate...but we slight regret asking for it in that first preview clip. It legit hurt. 😂
Hey! This Video was recommended me randomly because I was watching english video about Krampus lately. I like seeing outsiders enjoy the tradition. When I saw your Pre-Intro I had a short laugh. I am from Gratwein and I visit this Krampuslauf since I wasn't even a year old Xd Glad you enjoyed it! ^^
Hahaha. We had a great time, even though we left with actual WELTS on our legs. It was always a bucket list thing for us, so we're super glad we were able to go. Graz was really nice as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
It was a lot of fun! So many amazing masks and costumes. Maybe next time we'd check out a more "tame" version. Easier for filming, and easier on our legs. We got the crap beat out of us at this one. Hahaha.
Haha, Brandon is from Canada and I (Anja) am from Germany but I lived in Scotland, Canada, and the US...so maybe you could say so? 😆 Together we speak English, German, and a little bit of Spanish, though. We took French at school, but forgot everything 😂

We had no idea Graz is THIS beautiful! We're definitely adding it on our list for our next trip to Austria! Thank you guys!
It's super beautiful! Though Salzburg has been our favorite spot in Austria so far, for sure. 😍
Thanks for watching, guys!

Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed. Not many people saw this video, so thanks for commenting. Haha.
OMG that snow!!!
Also, never seen anyone so excited to get beat with a stick. LMAO.

Then you did not have a good Verhackert😂😂normally its intense😂😂
Intense, in which way?
We just got back from Austria, we saw a Krampusrun in a small town outside Klagenfurt. 35 Krampus groups
That's awesome! How was it? Did they beat you up there as well?? Haha.
@wherearewe-yt I hid behind girls! They go right after them, and I can get good videos.
@@gorlaklibhammer9852 Hahaha. They were beating the crap out of all the teens where we were. Some of them got it good, over and over again.
👏👏👏thank you. If not personal, what languages do you speak? I guess at least 5? English, American, Canadian etc etc LOL apologies
