We billet you have done an amazing job with this toy turning it into a model love watching your videos as you always give me some great ideas for same of the project's I've got plans for doing thank you for sharing your work.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos; thanks for recording & uploading them. The talent is there for all to see, and I'd proudly display that _hunk of junk_ in a heartbeat... After I'd finished flying it around the room a couple of dozen times and taken out a couple of squadrons of TIEs. _PEW! PEW! WHOOSH. PEW!_ *ahem. 😜😎
Awesome finish!!! Love the work you put in to this Hasbro Falcon!!! Looks great! The Hasbro is a nice platform to start with and with all the upgrades...both parts and electronics...building a accurate/great looking Falcon is possible! An you did just that! I really love what you did!
Fantastic! You have proven the saying "If you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig" - completely wrong in this instance. Glad I found your channel. Good stuff sir!
Bravo, my dude. This is an absolutely fantastic result, Rusty! My biggest criticism is that you spent far too much time worrying about canonical accuracy. In my opinion, "rivet counting" has no place in the Star Wars universe. If it looks right, then it's right 😉
I've been wanting to do this for years lol. You've really pulled it off nicely. This one's from the hero series. I'm happy to buy 3d printed parts for the upgrades.
Fantastic! I really enjoy the conversion videos. I bought a Hasbro A-wing and Tie Bomber after watching your videos. Now I just need to get at it lol thanks!
Very nice build! Considering where it started, you did an excellent job! Love the lighting, brings the model to life! A lot less expensive than getting the actual model. Happy days and model on! 😎
Can I request a future project? The Clone Wars era y-wing bomber that hasbro made is huge and screams to be repainted and detailed. I have always wanted to do one up the way it appears in the last season, last episode of Star Wars Clone Wars animated series. I would love to see how amazing it would look if you did one.
Just incredible! I just picked up same model! Can you post links to cockpit, for Thingiverse. I have printer and want to change cockpit. THANKS, for all the great tips! You did an incredible job!
Turned out very nice! Contrary to popular belief, they didn't have an unlimited budget at ILM. I think they had to work within what the main office (LFL) gave them! I've seen very good results from reworking these toys. Yours must be third one I've seen. Still amazing to see what the paint and lighting does for them! I'm not that picky on the details -- no 2 shooting miniatures were EXACTLY, 100% alike anyway! The paint job and lighting is what makes the difference after the greeblies. You did a very nice job with the sides filling in 3-D detail. Unless you're completely anal (I'm at the point in life where "good enough" IS "good enough"!), you're not going to notice. Honestly, the side detail looks nice! This still has to be more economical than the Bandai Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon. Even the Rise of Skywalker Millennium Falcon (the 10-11 inch kit? Finally has the right radar dish!!!!) is costing around $70 now.
Hi, love what you are doing on this! Did you get it finished? Don't see anymore videos on it. Alsi, do you remember what scale or size you scaled the Revell cockpit to? Thanks! 😊
Yes, I did finish, here's a link to the final video... th-cam.com/video/YBJoax9nS88/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ievXWP7XNeICAsf7 Sorry, I don't remember how much I scaled the cockpit up.
Thank you, it was a projector mount...here's a link WALI Projector Ceiling Mount, Universal Low Profile Projector Mount with Retractable Arms and Multiple Adjustment Function (PM-002-B), Black a.co/d/9GmEqKR
what year model did this come out? i just started the journey to find the best looking falcon and AT-AT that wont break the bank. what year is this on on the video?
I believe it was 2004, you can still find used ones on eBay for $100-$200 depending on condition. It was a fun project it makes for a great display piece. Mine is in my work office and people love it.

Looks great! I'm having a similar issue of finding someplace to display such a large model.
Thanks! Yeah...it's still in the shop at the moment...lol

Sorry, I don't remember how much I scaled the cockpit up.
Fantastic build!
, quick question, where did you go to to get the 3D printed dish and cannons?
Thank you! I got the files on thingiverse...the guns were modified quite a bit using tinkercad.
@@EagleSciFiModelerhow about the cockpit?
And what scale did you use 25mm, 27mm, 1/ 43rd or 1/ 48th ?
Great job!!, can I ask you what type of stand (cctv or tv) you are using? Link if possible really appreciate it
