2D’s eyes aren’t triggered by his mood. His condition makes his eyes filled with blood, but over the time the blood goes away. As Russel trips him in Humility, 2D lands on his head which causes blood to fill his eyes again. In Plastic Beach he wasn’t happy at all and you could tell in music videos he wasn’t happy, but his eyes were white. Amazing video tho! I’ve been waiting for this one!!!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Starting in Phase 3, Jamie started using 2D’s eyes to express the mood he’s in (fear, nervousness) and in Phase 5 it was to show his better and more confident ego. So when Russel tripped him, it made him mad, changing his eyes back to black!
I know, there's some odd writing choses here and there. But other than that, they're still going strong, phase 7 is actually both my favorite album and phase story wise. Mostly because it's the album that got me to fully check out this awesome band
