That was the sort of match that shows a champion from a good player. She found a way to turn it around. I sense Swiatek is going to win another slam this year.

I love Iga my favourite player on tour. Has a great mental attitude to her tennis and doesn’t SCREAM on every shot like a certain player from Belarus! Even though she was down a set came back to win the next two emphatically. Only a matter of time before she becomes World no.1!

IgA made a massive statement by winning Qatar. I'm amazed she took a huge step forward literally so quickly on such a fast court. This court will be easier for her if anything (not sure about the wind, could affect her timing)

When Iga gets in the zone she is unstoppable. You can clearly see when she puts on that 5th gear and puts the pedal to the metal. You go from 0 to 60 and the pedal stays there. I'm not going to speculate what she will or will not win but having watched her for the last couple of years I know that when she gets in that zone she's an absolute beast and nobody can stop her.
Jus heartbreaking. Love Iga more than ever. She is great human being and tennis ain't bad 😂 She will be great at #1👍just like Ash who sees tennis in the scheme of the wider picture of those who are persecuted and marginalized. Namaste 🙏

Serena got too many easy points with aces and service winners. Iga needs to start stacking up some majors for that to happen. Osaka had 3 at Iga's age of 20.

@@KowalskyLeon Iga już wcześniej grała takie akcje np. w czasie RG na mączce. Tutaj oczywiście wrażenie jest większe, bo ona się ślizga na betonie jak w Paryżu. Dziewczyna ma nieprzeciętny talent i bardzo dobrą fizyczność.

Iga wróciła też po zmianie trenera do niepretensjonalnego zachowania na korcie, pozytywnego nastawienia, agresywnej gry, wiary w swoje siły. Bardzo mi się podoba jej nastawienie i gra po AO 2022. Oby tak dalej, oby Wiktorowskiemu udało się jeszcze bardziej oszlifować ten diament.

In my opinion, mixing sport with politics is not a good idea . If that is the case, then they should treat the American athletes the same when they attacked Afghanistan, for example. However, I don't think the athletes should be punished because of their government actions. I hope the players stay out of politics.
