This is absolutely one of their best songs yet. I am loving the 80s revival vibe. Nice addition to their range. If they keep doing this we should get a 50s doo woo album after the 70s and 60as albums.
Lyrics I used to think that I should be good at everything Now I know I was wrong I used to think that I should do right by everyone Now I know I was wrong A couple of things is enough But now I know that Every wave is just that - cresting and crashing If it haunted you then Now you don't remember it Sever every microscopic atom of connection to "I can barely keep myself afloat when I'm not saving you" Resurrected from the basement I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me It's got nothing to do with me I used to think one man could fill me up But now I know that if I'm always stuck Obsessed with somebody else Distracting myself from looking at myself Sever every microscopic atom of connection to "I can barely keep myself afloat when I'm not saving you" Resurrected from the basement I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me Desecrated and complacent I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me It's got nothing to do with me I was raised an East Coast witch like Doing nothing's sacrilegious Triple overtime ambitious Sentimental, anxious kid I was raised an East Coast witch like Doing nothing's sacrilegious Triple overtime ambitious Sometimes nothing is delicious Resurrected from the basement I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me Desecrated and complacent I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me It's got nothing to do with me
yes. the wrong level LOL. the drum machine is what made it interesting. live drums would undermine that and remove the electronic feel. like the difference between Chromeo as a 2 piece and Chromeo when they made the mistake of touring with a whole band. It is interesting for a minute but it loses that certain something that makes it what it is
Been loving this Charly Bliss since they first released Guppy. I fail in love with them so much, I know a bunch of hidden songs they never put out like "Friends" and "Safe" Etc. This version of Capacity is definitely another amazing treasure
You asked 5 months ago, but anyway... I looked around for a while and I'm pretty sure it's a Meris Enzo synth pedal with the additional 4-preset switch on the bottom of his pedal board. That's how he can jump between octave fuzz, synth, and the arpeggiator.
My buddies band might have better exposure if they the industry rewarded crap like this drivel talentless hacks m.th-cam.com/video/9T-cVhdxXOQ/w-d-xo.html
The chorus of this song is a thousand home runs and a million dolphins flipping out of the water. It’s that good.
Her melody writing is incredible.
This song's lyrics. On such a deep level.
Whatever it is, she's got it.
It's so good to see these guys still around and growing
love this band

Lyrics
I used to think that
I should be good at everything
Now I know I was wrong
I used to think that
I should do right by everyone
Now I know I was wrong
A couple of things is enough
But now I know that
Every wave is just that - cresting and crashing
If it haunted you then
Now you don't remember it
Sever every microscopic atom of connection to
"I can barely keep myself afloat when I'm not saving you"
Resurrected from the basement
I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me
It's got nothing to do with me
I used to think one man could fill me up
But now I know that if I'm always stuck
Obsessed with somebody else
Distracting myself from looking at myself
Sever every microscopic atom of connection to
"I can barely keep myself afloat when I'm not saving you"
Resurrected from the basement
I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me
Desecrated and complacent
I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me
It's got nothing to do with me
I was raised an East Coast witch like
Doing nothing's sacrilegious
Triple overtime ambitious
Sentimental, anxious kid
I was raised an East Coast witch like
Doing nothing's sacrilegious
Triple overtime ambitious
Sometimes nothing is delicious
Resurrected from the basement
I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me
Desecrated and complacent
I'm at capacity, I'm spilling out of me
It's got nothing to do with me
love the song and the performance, though i'm pretty sure that live drums would take it to another level

Not with this song, at least with this arrangement. The live drums would blow out the sound a little too much in an intimate live setting like this.

That girl is cute
I say this, and I'm not even gay
Why are the dudes dressed like droogs?
Eva Hendricks looks like what Chelsea Clinton would look like if she became an indie musician.
SOUNDS LIKE A MOUSE ON HELIUM
Sad sack of shut when the music industry welcomes these type of artists bunch of mega wealthy rich kids from CT suburbs

Awfully irritating
