Decided to camp with them as night was falling fast. And then it appeared. It was like something out of a horror game. Never got a clear look at the beast, but I heard it, and oh boy did I _feel_ it shaking the ground with every step. I sat close to the dwindling light of my fire, praying it would keep its distance, or that if it did come close, the beefalo might distract it. And then it stepped into the light of my fire, but only for a moment before I couldn’t see it again- a flicker of white fur. And it was gone. I was lucky.

So I’m a huge fan of terraria and, after the crossover, I bought don’t starve together. I hadn’t played it like at all, and I only started getting into it recently because I’ve had a lot of extra time on my hands. I’m already a big fan of this game, but holy SHIT deerclops kicked my ass so hard. It’s been a delight seeing the source material for all the cool shit that was added, but he is TERRIFYING and I was not expecting him to kill me so hard.
I died many times by this dude and he always gives me anxiety when hearing those growls and stumping and I died many times that I know what to do when fighting this boss. I'm at day 134 now
Jokes aside the autumn equivalent for deerclops is actually pretty friendly, the worst thing he does is eating your food but as long as you don't attack he is just chilling
