I honestly feel that boss 3 is super underrated. It just gives of a vibe of "3000 different things are approaching my location at an alarming rate", which works perfectly for the bosses it plays for (the destroyer, brain of chuthulu, frost legion, ETC). All while being an absolute bop to dance to!
I started to play terraria 1 week ago and i am alredy doing the pupkin moon (i did golem first) and bro, when i first was fighting brain wihout a arena, i died but i defeated he after, and the music is very nice
Boss 1 is honestly really fitting. From the inclusion of alarm sounds at the start to the general chaotic nature of the song work perfectly considering how panicked a new player is to randomly be confronted with a boss with little warning.
Duke Fishron's theme was DEFINITELY designed like an invasion theme. It doesn't feel like a boss theme, not to mention the scrapped concept of the aquatic invasion that he was supposedly to be a part of.

I actually reinstalled terraria after not playing it for 3 years. When I first heard deerclops I was blown away from the fact I was hearing new terraria music.
I love how in the lunar pillar's theme you can hear hints or segments of moon lord's theme within it. Honestly, the heavy pounding beat matching your heart as you throw everything at it makes this probably the most fun I've ever had playing video games.

i honestly love Boss 4, i think it fits Queen Bee incredibly well, with some of the sounds even sounding like buzzes of wings, or just the pure chaos of the fight.
the song Boss 1, reminded me of when i played Terraria for the first time, when i went to face the EoC, i instead of focusing on the game, i was enjoying the music.
When Plantera was introduced I didn't care for the theme because the guitars seemed so out of place compared to pretty much every other score in Terraria, but now you'd better bet I'm jamming the whole fight. A+ music.

But just so you know, the theme wasn't actually made by re logic, Klei entertainment made it for the crossover event between terraria and don't starve. I really like that there is no order for the pre hardmode bosses whatsoever. There is no real first boss, and you can immediately skip to WafFles if you want to. You could do skeletron first, you could go for deerclops. It doesnt matter at all. Hardmode is a lot more linear, thats when things get serious and you gotta pick a class and follow the path. Theres still duke fishron and queen slime, who can be done whenever, but most of the rest are part of progression

(Because WoF is a magical gateway to hardmode, and the Twins soul drops are used for Post-Mech magic weapons)
Boss 3: Corruption’s Servant
(Eater of Worlds was just a big worm, Destroyer and BoC were actually intended to spread corruption, as I remember in Terraria lore)
Boss 4: Tyrant knows Best
(Plays on the phrase ‘Mother knows best’)
Deerclops: Another Eye, Oh My
(I just feel this title matches Don’t Starve’s general theme)
Queen Slime: Revenge
(Queen Slime is too powerful to just be considered another standard, oversized slime.)
Plantera: Jungle Guardian’s Rock
(Plantera is a reference to Steel Pantera, a favorite band of the developers, as noted by their ‘The Axe’ drop, and how the Lihzahrd temple is a big rock Plantera has to defend.)
Duke Fishron: Diplomatic Indigestion
(As close as Duke Fishron is to being royalty, his name entails he’s the furthest from the concept, even more than King Slime. The name is certainly fitting, and the title.)

(In lore, the Hallow is essentially a ‘system purge’ in design, that destroys everything that isn’t holy. The Hallow, in lore, is essentially the most evil biome in the game.)

This game never seems to miss that one sweet spot when it comes to soundtracks.

i honestly love Boss 4, i think it fits Queen Bee incredibly well, with some of the sounds even sounding like buzzes of wings, or just the pure chaos of the fight.
the song Boss 1, reminded me of when i played Terraria for the first time, when i went to face the EoC, i instead of focusing on the game, i was enjoying the music.
Deerclops and Plantera are actually SO PERFECT
Queen bee basically has her own theme (excluding ocram) because she’s the only boss with boss 4 as their theme

When Plantera was introduced I didn't care for the theme because the guitars seemed so out of place compared to pretty much every other score in Terraria, but now you'd better bet I'm jamming the whole fight. A+ music.

I also agree, deerclops theme is my new favourite. But just so you know, the theme wasn't actually made by re logic, Klei entertainment made it for the crossover event between terraria and don't starve. And surprisingly Klei also remixed boss 1 for don't starve. So both the eye of terror and deerclops soundtracks were made by Klei entertainment

I really like that there is no order for the pre hardmode bosses whatsoever. There is no real first boss, and you can immediately skip to WafFles if you want to. You could do skeletron first, you could go for deerclops. It doesnt matter at all. Hardmode is a lot more linear, thats when things get serious and you gotta pick a class and follow the path. Theres still duke fishron and queen slime, who can be done whenever, but most of the rest are part of progression
