There should also be an arcade version of Forza Motorsport or Horizon distributed by either Namco or Sega. Albeit, Gran Turismo should also have their own arcade version called Gran Turismo: Arcade. It would have the original GT tracks and a selection of vehicles from manufacturers and would possibly be made and distributed by Sega or Namco.
Nowhere available steaming blast OG when it was PC/360 version keeping so good and play trough everywhere like Forza Motorsport in Race Driver: GRID (Arcade)
Cool arcade version. OG Grid is so good. So glad I got it on steam when it was available, it's a blast to play through every time.

Play the Battle Gear series. Essentially what you described but with tuning.
i didn't even know they made an arcade version out of the home version. From the footage here, it does look like the control remain the same.
