Yes, Gershwin never gets old. Many of my musical memories are stored in Gershwin to be revisited and enjoyed time and time again.
Went searching for Rhapsody in Blue played on guitar. Listened to several halfway thru, then this collasal transcription played out in front of me with such molecular energy and between two beautiful humans by the end I was crashing into every note. What an engrossing performance.
I have spent 50 years listening to Classical Guitar. This is the greatest performance in history.
I never thought I'd agree with such a statement, but they certainly have a shot at it with this. My jaw is on the floor.

I only wish he had not worn cuff links, right hand one clinked a few times. I can’t think of anything more challenging than arranging this a then flawlessly playing it. Rhapsody in Blue is one of those iconic pieces that just envelopes the listener. 👏👏👏

I’ve listened to some solos of this song on guitar. But this duet truly did the song justice because all the lines that need to be sustained COULD BE AND WERE SUSTAINED. 🙌 Bravo! Well done!

What transcendent virtuosity. George would be utterly gob-smacked to hear this were he alive today. And the piece is nearly a hundred years old.

Absolutely and utterly brilliant - both the transcription and the execution of this American standard by these two great Polish players. They even had their own version of the cadenza which suited both the piece and the instruments perfectly. Added to my favourites.
You two literally have me in tears. Beautiful! I found this video reminiscing about my HS band years. 5:15 to 5:45 was part of my alto sax audition for all state and it's been one of my favorite pieces since. I wouldn't have thought there would so many guitar covers of it. I'm only a self taught guitarist (a lot of help and progress has come from random TH-camrs in recent years) I'm off to try and find a solo tutorial for this!

A boomer piano major back in 2007 once condescendingly reminded me under her breath that Rhapsody in Blue is "meant to be played on piano" when I expressed a desire to hear this played on guitar. I was a kid then so I was made to feel like an uneducated fool for even suggesting it.
I'm just going to bask in the satisfaction in knowing I was right to think it wasn't just possible, but that it would sound amazing on this instrument.
