    Hi Boone, I just wanted to thank you for your tutorials on map animation. They have definitely helped me. It is quite a steep learning curve, and I am still in the beginner's stages, but every time I get stuck on something and look for a tutorial, your channel pops up.

    This helped me to understand the split screen, camera moves, and keyframes. Now, I can understand another video by some other person that skipped all of this. Thank you so much.

    This video was so brilliantly helpful. Thanks so much. I just wanted to say that I have only recently discovered your channel, but it has been fantastic. I have long wanted to start adding maps and other graphical elements to my videos and this has given me the courage to try it! It certainly isn't easy, but you have a great teaching style. I've just signed up to the Patreon too. Let's see what I can do. :-)

    Thank you so much. Your videos helps me a lot. And your channel is the only place where I find videos on map animation using Google Earth studio. Other youtubers uplod map animation tutorials using paid softwares which I can't afford right know. Thanks again. Keep uploading such content.

    Is there a way to do this with street view imagery? If that was possible, you could basically shoot movie scenes virtually. Your actors would be filmed in front of a green screen and added in a separate layer. Imagine the possibilities.

    Thanks for this video...I'm trying to do a zoom into Australia...then tilt to a spot...have tried for an hour and a half...no matter what I try it just won't behave! It starts tilting crazy...rotating crazy...juimping from point to point...It appears one needs a phd to get this to work!! Shall keep trying..but this is certainly not easy when one tries to just add a couple change to the stock zooms etc. Thanks!

    • @BooneLovesVideo
      @BooneLovesVideo  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's actually one of the most difficult things to do in Google Earth Studio, so don't feel bad. It's quite common to have the camera flip where you don't want it to, especially during huge zooms like this. It's easier to start at a bit of an angle so it doesn't flip around. Also, the camera target will make it flip.

      @@BooneLovesVideo Thanks for the encouragement. I'm learning to just try to work within the parameters of what is easier. Also found the tracking feature to After Effects requires clever choices about what is and isn't easy to pull off! Thanks!

      I don't have anything that specific. This video does a really great job explaining it. This is still a clunky process which takes time.

    Please let me know why I cannot move line after creating the attribute. It doesn’t allow me to select the new button and move the line to make a curve. When I try to click the new button and hold it then the whole map move instead of the line!! I also cannot move the camera in the top view? When I hold the camera and try to move then the whole map also move, not camera!!

    The problem is when you want to have a short animation before you enable the camera target in the middle of the timeline. It starts acting really weird. Its really difficult to activate the camera in a later part of the timeline.

    Set Camera Target doesnt work anymore, you cant keyframe it....you should specify this

    • @BooneLovesVideo
      @BooneLovesVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just found this out a few days ago. It's a big bummer. There is a workaround - Simply disable the camera target, then move it around in top view and keyframe the position. Then you can reenable camera target and manipulate the paths after the fact. Definitely not as good as before, but still do-able.
