My old piggie Ruby died a few months ago. One time I was scooping the poop in her cage, and she was following the poop scoop so I lifted it up in the air and she stood up! I kept practicing with her and sometimes she fell over on her back 😂 but every time before I gave her veggies, I had her stand up. Then after a few months of training, whenever she heard the fridge open and footsteps coming near, she would stand up on her own! She was such an awesome piggie. RIP Ruby ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was training with watermelon and he’s smart so he was doing the circle and when I let my Guard done he yanked it and ran to lay In his house smart buger He’s doing really good with the trick Omg thank you for the heart ♥️

He just got another one and she is so jealous of the baby but doesn't hurt her thank goodness. She is so used to literally spending so much time with him out of the cage. This video is very usefull for guinea pig owners with guinea pigs who are actually active, unfortunately mine aren't; you can set them down on the floor and they won't go anywhere! I love them unconditionally though, they mean a lot to me. Today I got 3 new Guinea pigs from my mums friend to take care of for 2 weeks, they luckily are active, move and communicate a lot so I will definitely be trying this. Thanks! 🤍
I tried doing the first one and it really worked!! Now my guinea pig does it without the treats but I do give him one after because I don’t want to disappoint him. I love Tj he’s so cute and I love his fur colour my guinea pigs black with brown and white bits on him. Thank you for your help and please can you do a video of how to keep your guinea pig happy because I want to gain his trust and know how guinea pigs can be happy because I might be getting one for my best friend and she has never had on before. I've taught my 3 piggies to do paws up and even put their front paws on my pinky finger, i think any tricks involving skin to fur contact are also really great for helping timid guinea pigs realise you're not a threat! my newest rescue guinea pigs used to be very shy around me but now they jump up on my lap, alas not for strokes because they're super fidgets, but just because they're confident and want to investigate me 😂
Also that is such a smart piggie. One of mine can do all of these and one can do half of em(she is only 4 months so its not weird she has 0 patience lol) the third one literally doesn’t get anything xD The spin I’ve tried for a year and she still just falls over cause she’s too lazy to walk all around. She is a little diva too she loves to complain about everything 😂
I tried the paws one. They managed to do it but for now if been teaching them by luring I've done is just now so if I do it for a week they will Def learn!

I'm working with my guinea pig. And I did the paws up for a bit. Then I switched to the stand up one and he was doing paws up on my knees lol. I guess I should space the new truck out more😂
My guinea pig is pretty tame so all I have to do now is teach her some tricks! Honestly I think I’m a pretty responsible GP owner. I’ve had her for a year now! ( her birthday is today April 13) I’m teaching her the first one in the list. She kinda gets it but I still have to lure her ;-;
Thanks! :D I have a video for teaching them to come when called, but not responding to their name yet. However, teaching their name is usually pretty easy. Say their name in a happy tone of voice and feed them a treat each time. :) It takes a lot of repetition, but over time they'll start to respond to it more and more.
One of my Guinea pigs did really well probably because he really likes to eat but the other one would just stand still and only his head would try and reach out to get the lettuce. After he couldn’t get it he just gave up.
I got a guinea a few years ago she was small and the cage was big and now my guinea pig is big and chubby and now we have to get a bigger cage for her and a New Guinea pig

It depends on which veggies your guinea pig likes. I usually use green leaf lettuce or pieces of shredded carrots for my guys.

Normally I use green leaf lettuce or romaine lettuce. I'll sometimes use shredded carrots if I have a piggy that's not overly fond of lettuce. :)

And she is 2 month old and she started to stand up
