I was training with watermelon and he’s smart so he was doing the circle and when I let my Guard done he yanked it and ran to lay In his house smart buger He’s doing really good with the trick Omg thank you for the heart ♥️
My old piggie Ruby died a few months ago. One time I was scooping the poop in her cage, and she was following the poop scoop so I lifted it up in the air and she stood up! I kept practicing with her and sometimes she fell over on her back 😂 but every time before I gave her veggies, I had her stand up. Then after a few months of training, whenever she heard the fridge open and footsteps coming near, she would stand up on her own! She was such an awesome piggie. RIP Ruby ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The stand up one is the easiest for piggies to learn. Over half of my past pigs would stand up without me even teaching them! My boy nugget stands when he’s by himself lol he loves doing it. Thank you for this video!
Yes! They also each have unique personalities! My friend has a crested guinea pig and she is so smart. She is potty trained. She also will listen too. He just got another one and she is so jealous of the baby but doesn't hurt her thank goodness. She is so used to literally spending so much time with him out of the cage. It's like he became another piggy to her lol.
Gosh you helped so much!!!!! I tried other ones and my guinea pig just sat down asking for food she was to cute so a gave her some and I ran out you saved me I was doing a talent show with her
love it! thanks for these! I've taught my pigs to stand on my arm/hand and to twist, they trust me so much that they've started yeeting themselves off the sofa assuming I'm gonna guide them back into their carrier 😂 and they're only 4 months old! I love my girls so much 💕
Mine hops off the couch and goes in her cage by herself! I didn’t even teach her that 😂 she also knows to go to the cage in my room so I’ll set her down and she’ll run up the stairs and go into my room then into her cage ❤️
I can't even express how much I love guinea pigs! They are literally the cutest and most lovable pets someone can have. Their little legs and round bodies are the cutest! The way they waddle! I wish they could live forever. 😢😢😢❤❤❤
My guinea pig ringo who is seven just absolutely loves tricks. He learns so quickly and enjoys it so mutch. And thanks to this video i now have more to teach him
I tried doing the first one and it really worked!! Now my guinea pig does it without the treats but I do give him one after because I don’t want to disappoint him. I love Tj he’s so cute and I love his fur colour my guinea pigs black with brown and white bits on him. Thank you for your help and please can you do a video of how to keep your guinea pig happy because I want to gain his trust and know how guinea pigs can be happy because I might be getting one for my best friend and she has never had on before. Thank you for reading all of this ( you don’t need to do the one I said you can do it if it’s possible but if you already have then ignore that part )
This video is very usefull for guinea pig owners with guinea pigs who are actually active, unfortunately mine aren't; you can set them down on the floor and they won't go anywhere! I love them unconditionally though, they mean a lot to me. Today I got 3 new Guinea pigs from my mums friend to take care of for 2 weeks, they luckily are active, move and communicate a lot so I will definitely be trying this. Thanks! 🤍
So cute ❤️ I will definitely be trying this lol 😂 but I need to get my baby's tame more they will eat out of my hand but really don't like to be picked up and the only way they let me pet them is when they are out of there cage
I've taught my 3 piggies to do paws up and even put their front paws on my pinky finger, i think any tricks involving skin to fur contact are also really great for helping timid guinea pigs realise you're not a threat! my newest rescue guinea pigs used to be very shy around me but now they jump up on my lap, alas not for strokes because they're super fidgets, but just because they're confident and want to investigate me 😂
Also that is such a smart piggie. One of mine can do all of these and one can do half of em(she is only 4 months so its not weird she has 0 patience lol) the third one literally doesn’t get anything xD The spin I’ve tried for a year and she still just falls over cause she’s too lazy to walk all around. She is a little diva too she loves to complain about everything 😂
I tried the paws one. They managed to do it but for now if been teaching them by luring I've done is just now so if I do it for a week they will Def learn!
Hey guys! I have taught one of my Guinea pig’s the first trick, which I named press the button! I am about to try to teach it spin! Ty for making this vid!
My guinea pig is pretty tame so all I have to do now is teach her some tricks! Honestly I think I’m a pretty responsible GP owner. I’ve had her for a year now! ( her birthday is today April 13) I’m teaching her the first one in the list. She kinda gets it but I still have to lure her ;-;
@@AmazingAnimalTricks can you make a video on how to 24 - hour free range your piggy Cause I don't want them to be in heir cages even if I provide 10 hrs do floor time everyday(I do it )
I'm working with my guinea pig. And I did the paws up for a bit. Then I switched to the stand up one and he was doing paws up on my knees lol. I guess I should space the new truck out more😂
One of my Guinea pigs did really well probably because he really likes to eat but the other one would just stand still and only his head would try and reach out to get the lettuce. After he couldn’t get it he just gave up.
Thanks! :D I have a video for teaching them to come when called, but not responding to their name yet. However, teaching their name is usually pretty easy. Say their name in a happy tone of voice and feed them a treat each time. :) It takes a lot of repetition, but over time they'll start to respond to it more and more.
Thx for this video it will be very helpful for my piggies. Could I start training them even if their 2 years old. I tried training them when they were young but I didn't stick to it.
I am trying to do the paws up trick with my 2 Guinea pigs separate. And when I try they get on my hand but just goes down right after I give them the treat and they don’t do it again any idea?
My pigs are 4 years old. Is it too late to train them? One of them is a rant of the litter so shes a bit slower than the other pig, she takes her time figuring out where to go when doing floor time, and it takes her time to find her food even sometimes.
I got a guinea a few years ago she was small and the cage was big and now my guinea pig is big and chubby and now we have to get a bigger cage for her and a New Guinea pig
I've had good success with lettuce, carrots, and radicchio. Bell peppers are also really healthy if your piggies like them. It depends on what your guinea pig likes the most though. 😊

I tried doing the circle one, but my guinea pig just took the treat and layed down 😅😅😅 He's lazy :P
TJ can be like that too sometimes haha. :P It might help to give him a small treat halfway around the circle to keep him focused. :)
Same my Guinea pig hates me
Mine dint do it at first i just did the hand trick for fun to see her reaction she knew the trick and my mind is like: she was just lazy !?!
@@luciamejia73 he dont! They have a string personality! And you will notice His! Maybe is a shy Guineea Pig or maybe an agresive one! You know!

i’m definitely gonna do this with my guinea pig tomorrow. is it okay if i do it all in one day or is it best to do it one day at a time?
I wondered about the pacing of teaching the tricks too. I guess just try it and see eh?

Thanks so much
Yay! Now my guinea pigs know a few tricks!
thank you this is very helpful my guinea pigs are doing so good but can you please tall me the best food to use with the tricks?
It depends on which veggies your guinea pig likes. I usually use green leaf lettuce or pieces of shredded carrots for my guys.
These are so cute!!!😍🥰😘

May I ask what kind of vegetables you feed them in the video thank you 🙏
Normally I use green leaf lettuce or romaine lettuce. I'll sometimes use shredded carrots if I have a piggy that's not overly fond of lettuce. :)
how long does this take to do spin\circle
