I used to be huge into Barotrauma pre-steam (played under the name "Slip" and made the Sweetpea and Atolla subs that were kind of infamous for a bit) and love these videos as a trip down memory lane, thank you for making them for this underappreciated gem!
@@OlStinky1 oh man I remember those subs! The Atolla in particular being pure chaos with traitors, first time I ever saw ppl get ejected through the hull!
@@CMT_Crabbles At the time curved glass was a new innovation, so definitely went overboard with glass floors. It's unfortunate that the game's many updates bricked quite a few cool old subs (some of the BTE mod ones come to mind too from before Steam), but in a way it forces a creative destruction that keeps the game fresh.
Aw man, seeing your 2021 status report brought me back when the tutorial was different and I had trouble with a simple welding tool. 3 years later and now I'm a neurotrauma medic playing on a heavily modded version. Such simpler times... (also shoutout to all my neurotrauma medic homies out there, the struggle to keep ppl alive is real)

I typically play with a small group, since 2022 we’ve had multiple week long campaigns where a few have been completed. I definitely think that the game becomes “easier” when playing with people who know the game, to the point where we come back pretty easily from most encounters, except when the captain thought we would dock before the hammerheads would hit so no one knew about them until we were plummeting into the abyss. But with the updates and a really tight knit modding community there is plenty of new content to endure from a fantastic game that always delivers.

@@StandardGaming this is my second channel I use for comments, but i can confirm as someone that edits multiple stream vods into large mega compilations of highlights that longer videos do better on TH-cam 👍
