I can see this being particularly useful for recalling the paper type I used when I made those prints. If a client requested additional prints later down the road I doubt I could remember what paper I printed the originals on.😉
Absolutely! It will recall EVERY setting you used as well as your layout and all the images you chose when you saved it as a JOB. You can open it later and modify it and re save it with a different designator as well.
Sir, could you or someone of the viewers explore on the difference of QIMAGE and Mirage. I would like to use one of them to make my printing as frustration-free as possible, not having printed for years (Epson 3800 at that time, now maybe P900).
Since Mirage is a RIP and Qimage is not I don't know what could be said. QIMAGE uses the Driver for your printer. I've never use Mirage nor would I need to since the driver once set properly will provide you with the maximum quality your printer is capable of producing. RIPS are good in that they are not locked to the limitations of the driver such as paper sizes and lengths and other layout specs..

@@cheo1949 Thank you very much for your very quick reply. I’m not sure Mirage is a RIP, the website doesn’t make that statement.
If it works as a stand alone printing application which bypasses or does work through the actual Printer Driver then it is a RIP.
