  • Probably not the most popular Mustang produced, but this one is a true survivor. Low miles and an interior that looks just a few years old. Watch as we get this one cleaned up to be posted for sale.

Looks so much like my 77 Mustang!! Very few differences. I had so much fun detailing, repairing and driving that Stang. Sold it in 1987 to buy an engagement ring for my wife. Decent investment!

My favorite car ever made. I love that people hate it, because the people that hate it are the people i dont care to talk to.
    Keeps the enemies away lol.
Love the history behind the mustang II 4 year reign.
Own and daily a 77 ghia and starts everytime.
Put ho 5.0 in it, fuel injected.
    Exhaust work.
    Purs and runs sooo nice.
Needs body work.. And a few blemishes in interior and itll be perfect.

A pretty nice Mustang II Targa Fastback. You got her about as good as it gets!!! About a year ago we bought a 1975 Mustang II Ghia Coupe from the original owner. We had it detailed by a local guy who does good work. It came out good enough that we were featured at the 'Ponies in the Smokies' show in March. It's the little white coupe seen in the videos from the show. Thx

Beautiful job. Was just like mine except I had a black interior and a 4 speed. AH the memories! I wish I had this one just as it is. All I'd do is continue to take care of it!!! I wish it was at my house!!! I had 5 at one time Red 77 T top, "77 black and gold Cobra 2, a red Ghia, a White 2+2 and a silver 77 Cobra 2. and yes all at one time till a neighbor got pissy and called the county on me for too many cars not registered or insured. T top and Black and gold traded for a 72 Convertible Corvette, silver and 2+2 went to become rescue trainers at the local Fire school. and regretfully the Refd Ghia became a very small block of metal! I would love to own this one!!!

    • @DanWipper

Yes the stock set ups all sucked from 73 on, the four was fun with the stick but slow, the six with the stick peppy the V8 automatic not much better and the heavy motor hurt handling. HOWEVER; The Mustang II won all the pro stock races in 78, they got one down in the 7 second range. Small car that would accept a 351 stock, many people pulled the 140hp V8 and dropped in mildly modified 400 plus hp chunk of fun. Simply dropping in a 1968 302 or 351 would put you over 300hp. Then dump the 13" rear wheels, buy a couple of 15" and put as much rubber as you can in the wheel wells. Short the car hooks up great, better than the long late 60s cars which were spin happy. Pulling the front wheels off the ground and getting all the power down wasn't that hard, just dump the very heavy 5mph crash bumper for a hollow fiberglass one. The only down side to the short wheelbase is it can be a handful when drifting which remained true for most front wheel drive sports cars, as power grew back they needed the short wheelbases to make use of it.

Me too, I got about 20k into my 78 cobra restomod. it's really hard to come up with prices for these cars even though they are slightly making a comeback I just think I'm going to take a huge hit if I do decide to sell, I'll probably have about 30k in to mine by the time its finished. It's all good though, don't really plan on selling it, did it all out of love.

came out clean bro! quick question as far as protection goes, did you apply anything after 3D Speed? Can you even apply anything after 3D Speed? If im not mistaken it has montan wax right? Are you able to apply something like tec582 ceramic detail spray on top of 3D Speed? Do they work good together or do you use a different combo? I guess that was more than a quick question lol my bad

    • @JsAutoDetailing
      @JsAutoDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thanks man!! Speed is a mixture of carnuba and montan. I'll usually give the vehicle a quick wipe down with 582 or Beadmaker at the end. Mainly just to make sure I wiped off all of the polishing residue from 3D Speed. Haven't had any issues.

Nice II. It could use a paint job for sure, but otherwise looks pretty solid for original paint. In retrospect, I would have done better by acquiring a II in that condition than starting with a faded roller.
I already painted my II. Its approaching roadworthiness. I’m working suspension at the moment, but I stopped to watch your video on detailing. I am curious how a pro would deal with the vinyl strip over the roof? I just soak it with Armor All.

As for the faded vinyl, on this one I just applied 303 protectant. For a longer lasting restore, you can use a product called Solution Finish.

Sadly I know where a ghia is in mint condition but the guy will absolutely not sell it unless he was getting 15k or something and it's not that damn serious.
