If its original paint there is no clear they used single stage paint still in the 70s. Didnt start 2 stage till 80s. Mostly late 80s.

Ive never heard of this brand, but after seeing and listening to what you had to say and show, I think I will give one of their sealants a try. A few days ago, I did my first ever ceramic application using DIY's 3 year graphene coating because it was relatively inexpensive, and because Im a beginner. I hope it holds up. Can I use a Jade sealant even if I have a DIY coating?

I quickly scanned the comments but didn't see this question asked. After the unit is lifted and in a locked position, can the hydraulic lines be disconnected? If I'm removing an axle or transmission, I'd prefer nothing in my way if possible. Thanks

Just found your channel today. I am semi retired but still detail for a restoration shop. I actually did a similar Camaro. I really like Oberk Cut, Sole and Polish. I mainly use Sole and their yellow and red pad. You can buy a sample starter kit with a small bottles of each product and pads on their website. Then I order bulk from Detailed Image. I do have some recent video's using it. Warning is Im boring on video.

Beautiful job. Was just like mine except I had a black interior and a 4 speed. AH the memories! I wish I had this one just as it is. All I'd do is continue to take care of it!!! I wish it was at my house!!! I had 5 at one time Red 77 T top, "77 black and gold Cobra 2, a red Ghia, a White 2+2 and a silver 77 Cobra 2. and yes all at one time till a neighbor got pissy and called the county on me for too many cars not registered or insured. T top and Black and gold traded for a 72 Convertible Corvette, silver and 2+2 went to become rescue trainers at the local Fire school. and regretfully the Refd Ghia became a very small block of metal! I would love to own this one!!!

Do you feel safe working under your truck?

Would goof off work to get the fried paint off the wheel wells?. It is something I have already. This is a royal pain. Would a car wash pressure washer be strong enough once the paint thinner product is applied? What is the gel stuff you used?

Looks so much like my 77 Mustang!! Very few differences. I had so much fun detailing, repairing and driving that Stang. Sold it in 1987 to buy an engagement ring for my wife. Decent investment!

I think at some point PA just decided to stop putting out signs and cones for line painting. Seems very common to see lines with tire tracks through them. Unfortunately for me I must have been one of the first to drive over it because there was no indication of wet paint. Left turn got me too. I didn’t know about the reimbursement. I would have gotten mine professionally cleaned like you did there. Very nice thorough job you did.

Is this Jade Product used on the exterior black trim as well, like rubber or plastic trim to keep it from fading ?

I have a first off the line `73 LWB thats just rotting in my field cause i have no place for it. =T Not only is it a first year model square body but its also a Cheyanne Custom Deluxe. Its real sad, i dont have the money to move it... someone stole a couple cars from another property we have about a mile up the road as well. An absolutely mint 87 Ford E350 Econoline van. Not even a chip in the original paint, fabric all brand new looking on the inside, needed some gas tank work and something with the motor. Very low miles. Big sad... super sad...
