  • Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video, we are checking out the Haley Strategic Partners Flatpack XL. This is Haley's "Backpanel" for their HSP Thorax plate carriers or HSP Chest rigs. These packs are great for Airsofters and military professionals alike.
This Flatpack came to me via my good friend Cactus and I was really happy to get a chance to play with and review this bit of kit. I had read about the Haley packs for a while now and had wanted to try them out and I was really happy I finally did.
The Flatpack is both compact and Spacious all at the same time which is more than a lot of back panels can say. I did like this pack but would love to see a zipper added to it for zipping on and off plate carriers. I didn't buy this fella as I said so I don't have a link to where I purchased it but if I was going to buy one I would probably go to Off Base Supply Co for mine and they do have them, you can find a link to there shop here:
    offbase.co/collections/haley-...
The Flatpack can expand to 600 Cubic inches which is a pretty decent amount of space for what you get. I really do like the Flatpack but I do think it would benefit from a zip on-and-off feature or a better buckle system since the pack seems to have more play when buckled into a Thoraz than I would like.
I hope this video was useful for you and you got something out of this and may have found something you would be interested in. As always I appreciate the support and implore you to get out there and play some Airsoft, LARP smarter and Not harder, and above all else, take care.

Nice. I had no idea about the expansion feature. I previously thought it was just an overpriced hypebeast pack, but I'm definitely going to put this back on my list.

I had the exact same reservations about it when I first saw it but after getting my hands on it and utilizing it for a bit I am really impressed with the concept but if I was going to get one and run it I think I would want it to be on a MOLLE panel that zips on and off something like my Ferro FCPC V5.

@sinbreaker604 Yeah, you can MOLLE it directly to the PC, 3:15 mark in the review, you can see the MOLLE straps. I haven't run it with a bladder, but my friends that have them have, and I haven't heard any specific complaints.

I like the Flatpack but I Also still think I would be happier with the Eagle Beavertail or Platatac Bullock.
