Love my flat pack small. 3 litre bladder in main compartment , med kit in outer compartment and spare radio batteries etc in admin pocket. Straps attached to chest rig. Love it.

A 3litre bladder will fit in just the regular sized Haley Strategic Flatpack?

I was heavily debating it; slept on it and pulled the line today. Cannot wait for it. Thank you for the video; educational and a good resource.

Did Sootch give it two thumbs way up? I can't trust any product without his two thumbs up approval.

I'm a "pack addict" with over two dozen packs. They vary from packs I use while hiking to 'tactical' to just cool vintage military packs. Admittedly, I'm a Mystery Ranch fanatic, but the Hailey Strategic Flatpack has always been on my wish list. With my current setup, if doesn't really fill a need for me, but I have a big of a backpack problem. For anyone considering the Flatpack, get one (or 5). They make bomproof gear, and for a low profile day pack that fits on the back of a PC, it can't be beat.
But, if you want a simply amazing, modular set up that doesn't need to attach to a PC, check out the Mystery Ranch Hitchhiker. It can easily attach to larger packs (like the Overload) and be worn as a standalone pack if you have to ditch your main pack.

I love my Flatpack +. Use it everyday. My Roni Stab just fits. The regular flatpack is tiny so beware.

I just recently bought one and I can’t wait to test it out. I plan on making the flat pack my primary assault pack and a Jump Mountain Ruck from Mystery Ranch as my ruck. The plus side is since the Flatpack can be flattened, it would be perfect for jumping! Buying new gear is fun as long as it helps you do your job 🇺🇸.

Jason Shaver Molle it in and put the straps in the small pouch so that way I can remove the pack and wear it as a stand-alone.

Great review. The collapsed pack is 700 cubic inches. Its roughly 1400 expanded.

Will a 3L bladder fit in a FP+? In Haley’s release video he quoted 2L bladders but it’d be awesome if we can hold more water than just that.

Nice video and thanks for the review. I’m looking in purchasing the Flatpack. However, is there a way you can make a video of how you attached your Flatpack Plus to your carrier. I’ve looked all over and couldn’t find one. Thank you!

Hello everyone, wanted to see if I can get someone’s input on my issues. My bolt carries seems to be riding over the round and not chambering clearly. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it may be. The mags I’m using are ets and pmags.

For that price why not have a dedicated pouch in the back for a ballistic plate if you just use it as a backpack without it being attached to a carrier?

Go to a range and test out different arms first then decide what you need, also take a few classes

    • @ulkesh78
      @ulkesh78 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Go to a range that lets you rent handguns and try several out. Find one that you like, feels good, and one that you shoot well with. 22 is a good choice to learn on, but 9s aren't gonna beat you up and make ya not want to shoot.

Sig sauer p 226, glock 19, smith and wesson mp 9mm. All great 9mm guns. I own all three love all. Not the same, but love em all. Sig sauer 1911 tac ops, glock 21 are good 45 caliber.

Looks like another case of a Haley strategic product that’s way overpriced for what it is. Just like that ridiculous ar15 rifle he sells.

Doesn't even have a dedicated pouch for a ballistic plate if you just want to use the backpack only.

@@westtrumpet7 I'm not 100% against packs; more so packs attached to your carrier. And what I have in mind is crawling out of a vehicle or house through a window, or trying to get down a narrow alley.
