You are so right ! I live in New Jersey USA. I’ve ridden over 100,000 miles on my vespas. Now have a 300gts 2011 Vespa. What is this fascination with big loud motorcycles ? Your senses open up on a scooter and road trips are perfectly fine. Actually young kids love the crotch rockets (ninja) Why I have no idea. They are useless. No storage and not made for the road. And ego ! Don’t get me started ! Big expensive motorcycles are over rated and too heavy . Would love to correspond with you more. Hope you answer me. Ride safe ! Also we’ve been to Rome 30 times. Americans have no idea of the scooter culture there. It’s the best !
i had this bike brand new in 2015 as a young and spontaneous college student until it got written off literally 6 months later (non-fault), i was planning a EU road trip on it but couldnt (claims took 2 years!!) :/, i got my full money back but i really liked it, and bought a car. No more biking for me, but its good to see it was possible, however at now 25 i wouldnt want to do it on a PCX125 lol. :) . All the best and ride safe!

Vai tranquillo! Io ho fatto circa 400km al giorno a 70-80 km/h max. Ogni tanto qualche fermata per godersi il paesaggio e riposarsi.
