Overall, really good editing as always I just love how, just like in Pokémon and CoD and SF and every franchise EVER, he plays each new game - at its time in this example - as if it was his very first title! I can't put it into words, but I'm sure you understand what I mean. He makes all those weird mistakes, not keeping a shell behind him, uses the items almost the instant he gets them - which is especially painful with how he throws the shells and gets hit by them as if he has no understanding of the rebound - , not recognizing the returning tracks, etc. As if this is the first time he plays a game from said franchise, and he only held a controller for a first time a year before it! Its an impressive continuous failure that never ceases to amaze me 😂 And I knew Rambo and Drew were going to fare much better than piggyboy. Rambin in particular was always a MUCH better player than DSP is, I mean, he's no "Wizard", he's just an average guy and that gives DSP a run for his money 😝 Rambo carried DSP's butt better than anyone else, Panda would give tips but Rambo was holding a controller. Want to see a great example of that? His OG - and I believe only thus far - playthrough of Resident Evil 5. Rambo was the one helping him and telling him what to do the entire time he was there, when DSP was alone - he played with Rambo sometimes and alone some other times - he would struggle with the most simple of tasks and make very little progress in a game that isn't even that challenging all things considered. Same thing in MGS Peace Walker and really anything Rambo was there on Co-op with him. For me, the greatest moment was the Waluigi troll at 30:08 and the "WAAAAAHT?!" at 38:32 🤣🤣🤣 And obviously, the 150cc salt, but isn't that what we're here for?
Yeah, Phil always continues to make mistakes in any game series he touches and never even learned lessons on how not to play games the way he does, Rambo will still be livid over what the Pigroach did in early 2015 and those moments of Waluigi trolling, Phil being salty and screaming at the top of his lungs and all that 150cc salt is what people would like to see in TiHYDP, not the drunk, boring and melancholy modern Phil that makes his playthroughs boring.

And I couldn't agree more, the old stuff where the real salt and stupidity was at is a lot more entertaining than the modern drunk rambles. This is why I wanted to "re-cover" the old stuff, there are still a few gold nuggets here and there, exploring which is more fun and funny than his modern slugfest. Today its more about the drama, which is valid enough to warrant a watch mind you, but I still miss the old days when we were all gawking at his complete inaptitude and lack of understanding of the most basic, easily explained gameplay mechanics 😂
8:41-8:43 Honestly. It's stuff like that, that's also Why I don't really like using Green Shells. Very Unreliable especially on Courses and stretches of Road with a lot of Zig Zags and are just incredibly narrow.
I can understand that happening in mid-air but Phil gets too annoyed and hissy every time that happens. Maybe Koopa Troopas had engineered Red Shells to have a hidden floatation device in them.

If Phil played 200cc, his rage and Nintendo Salt would've reached Chernobyl levels of Nuclear. The original TiHYDP by BigShowRoolz was taken down, but it was reuploaded back up as a mirror. I guess Phil was salty that someone didn't like how bad he played Mario Kart 8. Also, appreciate the feedback there.
36:54 The Fireflower fireball didn’t go though his body. He probably had a defensive item and used it. Also, 7:47 Some Boostpads on this track contain a faint blueish-white light, indicating they are dangerously high voltage decoy boostpads, which Phil the Pigroach fell for. Also, again, 8:57 Making it to the upper track isn’t really doable in 50cc, as you needed a boost item, such as a Mushroom or Golden mushroom.
I hope that we'll have some new Mario Kart action for the new Switch successor and hopefully some new games for it (such as a new 3D Mario adventure, new game Sakurai-san is working on, new Fire Emblem and probably some remasters of older games for the new generation), but we'll wait and see.
My god, was that a blast from the past seeing Phil rage so much, kinda makes me think he'll do much worse with MarioKart Wii's AI cause they'll constantly keep throwing items at him in 150cc

Hi mate, I'm new to the TIHYDP genre, but I can see he hasn't learnt a damn bit about games for quite long! I come from his Doom Eternal "play" and just the same problems: doesn't learn the core, doesn't assume responsibility, acts like he's a fan yet can't accurately name shit (if you thought Lizzy Koopa was bad, imagine he called A DEMON the Doomslayer), and honestly I'm glad he didn't attempt fuckin imitations in his DE game, that Schwarzenegger bit was unbearable. Good thing I'm into BDSM, your video was both a delight and painful to watch. Hope to see more!
