Bruh the toggle action is literally so big brain. I should have thought of using toggle action long time ago but I didn’t know how it works. Thanks for the tip!
*glues 2 lugers together* you're welcome to make your own pistol if you want, i'm already thinking about a pistol, with the magazine of a bolt action rifle, with the toggle above the trigger play around with the idea and i'm sure you'll have your very own pistol that can easily hold it's own against mine
@@BrickShot-LEGO-builds yeah, maybe link my channel, but have Retrad_ somewhere mentioned, video or video title, it's up to you and you can take your time with it, i just want people to build their own things with my mech
u don't have enough time to film, i feel u. i have 4 almost 5 guns i haven't made vids of yet. this pistol fascinates me more than snyzers spass and kraber. very interesting and super cool!
just came up with a better one yesterday, this one is double action, the trigger gives the power, a real gun stores it's energy in the bullets, but... what if you stored energy in the gun? like clockwork, releasing only a set amount each time 🤔 (i have the diagram for a working model, you think about it too if you want) we could have a competition of truly semi-auto guns
is it one like the semi auto sniper amex 10 made? it is like a cross bow, that has many strings, a semi auto rbg system only relieses 1 at a time. the only bad thing: have to reset the rubber bands after u use a full mag. look at amex 10's semi auto sniper, it has a green stalk ull know what i mean. i like the way u think and i have also thought about stuff like that many times.
@@Thegunnery mine looks like a rubber band gun, but the rubber bands never leave the gun, they only turn the wheel that you wind up, it's like a blowback rubber band gun, where the excess energy is used to shoot a bullet i foresee a light trigger pull, semi-auto shooting, probably not that strong bullets tbh (maybe) and a really hard to move wheel or rod you have to move by hand after reloading, so in a sense, you load the gunpowder and the lead separately
u didn't watch the vid did u. the sniper is like a crossbow:it has a string/rubber band to propell the bolt/lego piece, it has many strings for many shots, plus a many round mag. the many strings are loaded onto a semi auto rubber band gun system, u pull the trigger, it realleases a string/rubber bands, an launches the piece in the chamber. the string/rubber bands are stored on the gun. just look at teh vid. if u can't find it ill send u a link, but later im doing school now.
@@Thegunnery no i did watch it, but the guy had to load the band individually, i meant the common rubber band gun, the bands stay on the wheel, it's like the spring in a watch, putting constant tension on an axle, that's what you tap into to shoot, when your mag is empty, you tension it again
i'm "working" on it luger was the original idea, then i went with a 1911 style pistol because it was easier the top of the luger would be too thick if it worked, and i don't know how to make 45° magazines (i could absolutely make a c93 borchardt tho if i didn't hate how that gun looks)
I don’t get any of this but I respect it loads I have seen a few other semi automatic pistols but none as compact as this. I have been studying your content lol
it's simple, you build pressure, then release it to do that you use an elbow joing (toggle lock) and the pulley is there to make it more efficient, but you can absolutely go without it for a prototype
@@goosegang4046 yes, it's like carrying a really heavy backpack, your straight legs can holt them up, but if you bend your knees you'll fall to the floor, fast
no it wouldn't, you'd need faster contracting rubber bands if you fill the barrel, it shoots 6 bullets at roughly the same speed, and that's double the weight of the current striker and carrier if you wanted more speed, you'd put the rubber bands on the toggle locks, and have that pull the carrier forward, that would require a larger mechanism, and a lot of glue (so this is the "simple" version 😂)
There's not really any such thing as faster contracting rubber bands. They all obey hookes law with negligible deviation. Its just a straightforward consequence of F=ma, if the force on the system remains the same and the mass halves then the acceleration will double.
@@Ailtiryou could use a twice as long rubber band, with a roller in the middle (like in the magazine) that would double the speed what wouldn't double it, is changing the weight of an already light thing it moves, because the rubber bands i use, already contract at basically their best they're like a decade old tho, so yes, there are such things as better rubber bands, and there are other things, like fighting the 2 rubber bands in the toggle locks, that take more power away
Using a longer pretensioned rubber band wouldn't double the speed it would just make the force on the projectile more consistent as it is accelerated. The integral and resulting velocity would still be the same unless you're going to be doing something else to input energy into the system.
@@Ailtir rubber bands expand in a % of length, more length means a proportional length is covered faster 10% contraction on a 10cm band is 1cm 5% contraction on a 20cm band is also 1cm, but in half the time, meaning double speed

Hello, this is just an awesome pistol that I know and I really liked the slide stop mechanism, please, if you can, make a guide about it👍

how about you steal my mechanism, build a better looking pistol with bricks, plates and slopes, and i steal that?

You could have made a Luger p08 with that first mech, I’ve never seen anything like these creative mechs you’re making. Keep up the good work.
see i was going for a luger, and realized pretty early on i'd have trouble figuring out the feeding, no idea how to make a tilted magazine
Wow you are the best
the video isn't even out yet my guy, but thank you :D
It looks like a cyberpunk gun
i was kinda going for a sci-fi space blaster, didn't quite end up looking that cool, more like a box

Halving the mass of the bullet + hammer would double projectile velocity.
