I tried building it, but it does not work. It chambers a rubberband, but doesn't consecutivly fire them. Can you help me out :(

I've also been having problems with the mech but I don't currently have time to work on it. Maby try changing it up a bit so that the L shaped part that the rubberbands chambers on to can go further down.

This is really cool! I love how the blowback is 4-5 studs. This is one of the nicer Lego technic pistol out there. It would be cool if it could shell eject as well. That would make the first full auto shell ejecting pistol on TH-cam!! Great job man
I think with a bit more room, might have to go to five atuds wide, you could put in a shell ejecting system. It would be awesome to see someone do it.
There is this kid that did it with a 4 stud wide system. He didn't make a tutorial though :/

The way the rubber band that is being fired hits the black liftarm and moves the slide forward is really cool. Would it be possible to use a 40 tooth gear instead of the 120° 57585 part to have a bigger magazine? The mechanism would have to be much larger but I think it would be cool.

i had to use alternate parts and different rubber bands so it is not full auto but it still works

I'm surprised LEGO has never made an official line of rubber band blasters/shooters of any kind. I know their rules against "realistic military" stuff, but I'm sure they could absolute work around that using like the Star Wars license or something. An official LEGO stormtrooper rubber band gun using this full-auto mechanism would be incredible! The closest thing we have are those NERF-esque foam dart blaster kits made by K'Nex.

When I built it my trigger was not working 😢
I've been experimenting with using a gear instead of the triangle thingy piece he uses for the ratchet. Still messing with the spacing and the amount of teeth. Also seeing how I could get the trigger to be more responsive.

I think this gun is inspired by one of 'Infected Bear 95's gun......anyways this is the best gun that is both semi and full auto.....great

Great build! I always wanted to make full auto lego gun and now i can. Tho i built it from thus tutorial and for some reason it doesnt work, the trigger doesnt move anything else than itself. Im trying to locate the problem but its hard, i have every piece needed, mechanism rubberbands are the same i dont know what could be the problem here.
Edit: i localized the problem, its the bullet rubberbands, i connected 2 of them to make them bigger cause i dont have as many in perfect size and the custom ones were too big, my plan was to make a m4a4 design on it so its gonna have a longer barrel thus making it compatible to my custom rubberbands
I finished the build with all the right parts and the gun shoots slow and it’s not auto, I keep having to pull back the slide every time I shoot. And the slide doesn’t go all the way forward when loaded, could you help me out please?
