Hi Rajat, Scenario: Say you applied for parents to come to the USA to be permanent residents and they come here with a green card. Within say 6 months, they apply for their unmarried son in Canada to come to the USA permanently. The son was 23 when they applied and now he is 30. It has been 7 years since they applied. How many more years can we expect to wait for him to come here? When they applied it said to expect about 7 years, but now I think it will take much longer.

Hello, your scenario is wrong. Anyone with a GC can't apply a GC for another person. Only a US citizen can apply a GC for a family member.
