don't sell me short is such an underrated song! wish they played it more often
New America! What a wonderful BR album, this show is a jewel!
Eu amoooo esse disco
Criminally underrated album!!
Atomic Garden is my fav song in this set
Greg's voice is abnormally amazing in this concert
I firmly believe that The New America era has some of his most powerful and raw vocals. It's such an underrated album.
@@evegasse6999 very much agree
He probably had a cold. Maybe covid
It always is
One of the best and longest lasting punk rock bands of all time. Also they have a pure punk sound.
Bandas en general, ni hace falta hacer la distinción.
Bobby is such a spectacular drummer. He's not flashy or overwhelmingly impressive, but he's PRECISE. Teamed up with Brian Baker's stellar lead guitar and Greg G not missing a single cue makes for one of the best BR performances I've seen.
Hey u forget the fast pickin' Bass of Mr Jay Bentley, he holds togheter all the great things that u said on your post
By far the best live version of anesthesia I’ve seen
i just love you`ve got a chance
great song and here the sound is a blow to the head.
The whole set!? you rule for posting this. Such cool setlists from this era!
Superb performance, particularly guitars, drums and lead vocals... Thanks for sharing
I didn't start getting into BR until my senior year in high-school in 2007, so after New Maps Of Hell the first other BR album I got was The New America, and due to the more personal lyrics it connected with me in a way that NMOH hadn't.
Will always have a soft spot for TNA.
you can really see how much pain Bobby is in. Look at his face at times and notice he really struggles hitting that right crash if he is on the ride. such a shame he had to leave, he was a really great drummer.

Hetson's guitar tone is so driven. Love his sound.
100% agreement.. An instantly recognisable guitar sound.. He knew the sound he wanted, and he stuck to it.. An amazing guitarist and sorely missed by myself (and I'm sure a lot of other Bad Religion fans).. Davey in Ireland.. :) Respect to ya pal! :)
Cheers all the way from Canada! :) Also, I have the same last name as you lol.
Queef
Cool bud! Nice one! I love Canada and always found Canadians to be kindred spirits with us Irish, we seem to naturally get on, both of our people... All the best from Davey in Éire, the Emerald Isle :P
Irish culture has definitely rubbed off on Canadian culture. Not surprising considering the amount of Irish immigration we have had here in the last century.
I love him too
Bad Religion are one of the greatest bands of all time
Bad Religion are the best rock band ever because they write all kinds of songs: punk, metal, alternative, grunge, pop punk, even folk and county :)
no doubt
The best.
If Bobby's shoulder has healed they need to ask him to rejoin. He was wonderful.
Im sure it healed, but he cant tour and play professionally or he might further exacerbate it.
I agree, he was a POWERHOUSE! An unreal drummer.. One of those drummers I can identify by just hearing a few seconds of his drumming.. He has a really unique style and drum sound.. I missed him a lot when he left the band.. A lot of people say that Brooks blows him out of the water... But, although Brooks IS technically a better drummer, I really loved Bobby's style of playing and his presence on stage... Bobby Schayer played the drums in most of the music which plays in the background of my happy memories from '94/'95! :) From Davey in Ireland.. :) Respect to you James Bayly! :)
David Hughes Powerhouse is a perfect description of Bobby, he was a machine! Honestly they probably barely had to mic his snare, he's just that much of a beast! He is sorely missed!
James Bayly I do like Bobby's playing but there really is no comparison. The problem is that while good, Bobby has one speed most of the time. He wasn't as versatile and at his fastest wasn't close to Brooks. True North or Process of belief wouldn't have been as good with Bobby. I started with Pete drumming over the most influential albums but some of thier best music was work Brooks. Just one Bad Religion fans humble opinion.
Pete and Bobby were without a doubt the best drummers in the bands history.
Hardcore de paladar negro.
Saludos desde Monte Grande, Argentina!
the sound of the guitars is fucking awesome in this show. WOW!
GREAT!
I really like these guys!
nice nice nice thanx for upload
Awesome upload, thanks!
I have never seen BR nail Anesthesia like they did in the concert! Everything was perfect and it sounded almost identical to how it does on the album!
muito bom seus videos
cierto. la voz de graffin en este concierto es sorprendente.igual siempre lo es - true. graffin's voice in this concert is amazing.as it always is

The New America gets a lot of bad press -undeservedly in my opinion. I think the production on that album doesn't show the band off too well, but most of the songs are really good and this concert proves that Bad Religion have always been amazing.
🎵🥰🕺🎶
oh shit! this is amazing!
Nice concert
yeah only shame Bentley's mic is so low-this is one of the best live recordings of BR out there
Greg sounds like an AUDI S4 ...
12:50 - It should be "You've got a chance to confront the world today", but he sang '.. to be relevant today'
Greg messing with my brain.
Oh wow, they played "The Fast Life"?! How did this song not make the regular version of the record? All the songs they played from "The New America" are exactly the songs I would've chosen to play from that record. Not a good record IMO, but those songs in this setlist are really awesome. Also, the backing vocals are on point but are waaaaaay too low in the mix.
n00barmy Right?? The Fast Life would have easily been one of the best songs on TNA, such a shame. Also pretty ironic about the backing vox huh? They are usually awful (looking at you Jay!) and way too loud.
New America!!!!!!!
Мощнейшая энергетика! Отличный трэк-лист!
Интересно Америка стала новой спустя 23 года или всё-таки деградировала?
bad religions best drummer.
Great concert! Great setlist! But the commercial breaks in this youtube video are so annoying :(
18:16 anesthesia
0:22 like a fucking boss
Homer wanted to share stage with Bad Religion 27:25
Has Greg red hair there??
This is one of the few festival sets from them I've seen that doesn't start WITHOUT vocals due to shitty sound people
...At this point the cracks where showing that they needed Brett back
@Alencar Faulkner Mr Brett wrote Believe It from The New America. That was the album of reconciliation for them, Brett was basically back at the point, but still reluctant to tour extensively.
@Alencar Faulkner That's right, he was gone shortly after Stranger Than Fiction, got some help for his drug problem, turned Epitaph into the monster it is today, and then came back when Greg called him in 1999/2000 for their 20th anniversary project, The New America.
this performance is soon to be 17 years old....holy shit.
18 and counting...
@@timspencer3185 Almost 23!
Just because Brooks is fast doesn't mean he's a show-off.
27:25 wtf lol
7 dislike?! What's wrong with this people?
Jay's mike is WAY too low. its embarrassing seeing hi,m do the backing in recipe for hate but not hear a thing
Back then MTV was still a showing some good music, not like nowadays...
