We have been to all the lower 48 states in our RV. I used to camp on the beach, at Pismo, years ago. Keep an eye on when high tide is and make sure you park far enough away. ⛺️
They were very good but after a couple of days camping my tortillas started to get a little soggy because I used KETO friendly thin ones. BUT I decided to put then in my iron skillet to brown them and at the same time the sogginess went away and became a little crispy outside. My friends thought they were yummy! Thank you!
Finally I bump into a cook who really understands her art! I'm so glad I found you and this recipe. I don't like breakfast burritos but my husband does. I plan to add refried beans/mashed black beans instead of tater tots (he doesn't like shredded potatoes for breakfast)...now if I served them with my homemade homefries he might just change his mind. I have a seal-a-meal and love it for freezing (you can add more months to freezer time as there's no air when you vacuum pack)! I used to do alot of camping and doing the rough kind with limited water access reminds me of a few camping tips you might like to try. I vacuum pack wet paper towels some with a little cleaner in them so you can do a quick wash up when there is no shower (use the used paper for toilet wipe in the woods or once dried, as kindling. It's also great wiping kids who need a quick clean up before dinner or bed. You can also seal small packets of spice blends, shampoo, liquid soap (like the camping biodegradable peppermint kind) so you aren't carrying the weight of plastic containers. I packaged all my meals this way including water, froze them and used them as with less bought ice cubes. I'm going to peruse your other recipes. Thank you, Chickie
Our favorites are spaghetti and chili (vacuum seal and freeze, then we place bags in boiling water to cook). Love hamburgers on the grill or campfire grill. S’mores! Yummy
Make sure where you are going camping. They are open. I live in Oceano Dunes where you can camp on the beach. But it is closed now. have fun camping make sure you bring a jacket cuz it will be cold and Wendy probably. It is here all the time. LOL And that is my favorite thing is a breakfast burrito when I'm camping.
Thanks for the cool recipe - love the tater tot addition. I am going on a 7 day rafting trip and I am responsible for a breakfast meal. My big question is how to re-heat after thawing. We will have skillets and a large gas stove but no oven. Starting a fire in the morning isn't a good option. What do you think?
Hey Jamie! These will be great on your rafting trip! I would make sure they're fully thawed, then keeping them in the foil, put them in the skillet on medium-low heat and cover the skillet with a lid or a piece of foil (to keep the heat in). Turn them frequently (every 2-3 minutes) to make sure they don't burn on the outside. They will eventually heat all the way through. The good news is that everything will be fully cooked so you don't have to worry about "cooking" them. Just get them warm! Have a great trip. Sounds awesome!
If you are driving out on the beach, air down your tires between 15-20 psi. We are going to Oceano Dunes April 19-21st. Love camping on the beach. Good advise above check the tide tables.
What's your favorite make ahead meal for RV camping? Here's another one I love: th-cam.com/video/Q_HsSUs81Is/w-d-xo.html

Am I ever glad to find you on TH-cam. The jalapeño infused moonshine worked amazing and this breakfast burrito will be tomorrows thing to try out
Perhaps you should have a shot of jalapeño moonshine with your breakfast burrito...? Just sayin’
🙋 I always do the happy dance when we book an RV trip! 😂 I thought I was the only one! TFS the recipe. I'm going to check out your channel today!

We're heading out right now with ours! :)
I am gonna do this with low carb tortillas. 😋
We made ours with the low carb tortillas and no potatoes and it turned out great. We didn’t miss the high carb version.
That’s what I did, too. See my comments.

How to warm up on a small propane BBQ?

great tips! Thanks!
How long would you say warming up in a microwave?😊
I'd do it for 3 minutes on 50% power to start and see how they are. (And remove the foil... ;) )
@@Thespicyapron Cook for 3 minutes the next morning in the microwave after they’ve thawed out in the fridge over night right?😊
@@kylienicole867 Correct. It may take a bit longer, but I'd start with that.
