The clear folder is called a “carrier/transfer folder” and it is used to feed material and foil into the machine. Typically it is clear heavyweight heat-safe material or parchment paper but can be as simple as a folded piece of copy paper. The carrier/transfer folder provides support so the rollers can apply even pressure as the foil is applied to the material as it moves through the machine. The folder is fed with the folded side first into the machine.

Replay - 3years ago - when waiting for it to dry does room temperature have anything to do with it Also can I use deco foil, that is all I have
Yes decofoil is toner foil. Humidity will slow down the process.
