    Overall, this is a good rough draft of an instruction video. However, I have some criticisms of a few of your instructions.
    8:42 How much weight should the bearing be able to support when the rail is vertical? If we get that wrong, what consequences will we face?
    10:03 Oriented is what manner? Which wires should be near which side of the plastic part? It looks like that magnetic connector is reversible in the slot you designed for it, so you need to be more specific here.
    12:47 What if it isn't already pressed in? Should we expect it to be, or will we have to do that ourselves?
    13:20 Requiring a random spring that may or may not effect how well the extruder works is not a good plan.
    Fixing these should lighten the technical support load on yourself and the community.

    • @ElevatedisScout
      @ElevatedisScout ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think for the spring he should just change it to a ender 3 spring.

    i love this. to me this is the biggest improvements made to 3d printing since the ender 3 but i feel like its not getting no where near enough attention. i wish there was a kit u could buy to build one an at that point i think it would blow up, its just to cool not to especially if its price point isn't insane. ive not seen anyone put one together so i have no clue how much it does cost to put one together but that is biggest hurtle to overcome in my opinion, sourcing the hardware an all the parts needed can be a head ache an almost always ends with you buying the wrong thing for something, same thing for the voron printers, once ppl started selling hardware kits is when ppl actually started buying an building them but when i first tried to put all the parts together to buy for a voron i gave up on it an just held out hoping someone would put a hardware kit together.

    9:50 would it not make sense to have the pins reversible on the magsafe connector as a safety? NTC - GND - 24V - 24V - GND - NTC - there shouldn't be polarity to any of them and then it can't be screwed up.

    • @joelschulz-andres6651
      @joelschulz-andres6651 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      These connectors have different magnet orientations left and right, so they can only be plugged in one way.

    • @markcastonguay7906
      @markcastonguay7906 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@joelschulz-andres6651 don't underestimate an idiot's ability to mess things up If the connector is mostly symmetrical it can still be forced in the wrong way and with enough determination and forced to stay in the wrong way around. that effectively means that it should just be treated as reversible by the designer. whether it is simpler or not to make it naturally safe as the designer.

      @LanceGropper ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jeremiahmarkwith7877 A lot - around $1050 total, because in several cases I had to buy a lot of parts just to get one. Because the prices changed, I ordered as many as I could via Ali Express. Some were custom and took a long time to get (i.e. the stuff for the X-Y axis belts). There are full kits available on Ali Express for $300-$400 - I tried to buy one and it turned out to be fraudulent. The hardest part to get is the defroster material for the bed - I think the seller found out they were not being used for defrosters, and it's now several hundred dollars by itself, so at first I went with a kapton heater, but later, I saw a muon bed from England for about $42, and bought that - it's 100% transparent.
