Expertly created, Ruben! Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention. We're learning every day and it's great to share our experiences. Have a great weekend!❤❤
This topic is certainly a minefield. You've touched on it with your usual grace & candour. Not to mention the always stylish photography and direction! I've only done a handful of paid review videos and only with brands that I actually use... 🔥🧨💪🏽🤠👍🏽🧨🔥
Great video, Ruben! Straight to the point! This isn't an easy topic to discuss, and we've all dealt with these "great" requests at some point. It's important to address it!
I’m so happy you made this video. I’m watching in full (on my tv) so commenting before it’s over. Thank you so much. Love you👍🏻😁🥰🦊 Here before it went viral 👇🏼
This video will help people understand the background of running a TH-cam channel, also help smaller channels not to be taken advantage of. Great video brother .
When to make a review for free in my opinion? If the product excites me and has a practical use. Also, depends on how the company approaches the conversation. I send them a collaboration terms and conditions which isn't very friendly, if they still choose to continue then i'm more open to considering a review but i also remind them that it isn't a video for product barter trade. I don't think anyone should accept such model. Great video brother
Never buy a product for reimbursement. The rest I agree with you. When is good to do a free video when the product is going to make you money or is part of your daily workflow?
Affiliate links for the likes of Amazon are great; smaller companies, not so much. The other year, I did some content for a company for a tool, I did several videos and some reels, and I made a grand total of £120; my videos got over 1 million views. I no longer make content in return for affiliate links unless its something like Amazon. If you have to rely on a company to tell you how much you made from an affiliate link, then you only have their word what you made.
We are all familiar with these types of emails. The notion that creating a video for free will be rewarded with views and TH-cam success is incredibly naive. These companies just want to exploit you without compensation. It's laughable how many so-called "creators" are willing to work for free. In the end, you become a worthless "influencer" (like a home shopping TV host) promoting a non-credible, subpar product. And well - you then are non-credible too.

Pricing yourself is one of the hardest things to decide, when to charge, when not too, contracts, etc…chaos. 😂😎
It is indeed a difficult matter!

Can you touch on email addresses from people that are sending review offers? Fake or legit and how to tell. 🎉
