I like the blue couch content. It was really good to see you working with what you had rather than just ripping it up and putting brand new turf in. I've got blue couch and no one else really mentions it. I love mine, so soft and it stripes up a treat this time of year now that i'm mowing a bit higher. Maybe it's just a Queensland thing. Pretty keen to see how the Zoysia goes.... I enjoy you doing it the hard way
Agreed. I’ve asked some questions on a few other lawn channels and none of the blokes down south know anything about the Qld Blue so it’s good to have someone doing it
Can you please do a video on changing the scarifier to the grooming reel on the predator Scarifier HD 18″ with 7.5HP Engine LS460 IF ITS NOT TO MUCH TROUBLE
I seen in your aerial shot of the yard for this video, behind the fence the turf has light and dark greens in some patches. I’ve got similar issues. Maybe a talk on why this could be would and how to amend. Thanks.
Is it possible to do a Video/Videos on soil testing? How to test to see what is deficient in your soil so you know what to target with products. Beyond PH testing which we can all do. Is there a place to send off sample of our soils to be tested etc? That would be a great insight into how to take our lawns to the next level.
Hey Emma, not sure if you have this issue and can do a vid on it but I have Wintergreen Couch, which grows really well except in a few location around the house where it is shaded out by the roof line during winter, gets to summer and the warmer months and just as it starts to fill in the shade returns any advice on what I can do, other than using concrete, may be laying some T31 in these areas hoping it will hang on better through winter and will blend with the couch or is there other something else you might suggest? Keep the great content coming.
Hey there 👋🏼 Thanks for watching! I applied Lime at spring renovation but you can also apply now. There’s usually a set amount that is recommended depending on what your pH is. Mine actually needs re-testing so I’ll do that again in August. Spring is usually the best time as you can add amendments as part of your renovation and therefore get results in a short space of time and enjoy the benefits for the remainder of the season
Bouncing back nicely. Still plenty of warmth in the soil. The couch reno i did on my customers lawn in Lake Macquarie is bouncing back nicely as well. I did it in the first week on April and topdressed. Do you get frosts at your property?

Are you done with you tube or just having a break?
Just had a break. Hopefully back next week 😊
R.I.P?

No, we don’t thankfully. About an hour or so west of us does though. I’ll continue with the liquids and it should be back nicely before Winter
