- On this week’s episode of A Week in Watches, we have news from Furlan Marri, Arcanaut, Baltic, Oak & Oscar, and Seiko. Furlan Marri returns to its roots with a new chronograph, but this time with a high-end mechanical chronograph movement. Arcanaut debuts two new watches in the D’Arc Colors line, one featuring a very unexpected dial material. Baltic adds some gold to existing models, and they look killer. Oak & Oscar team up with a local Illinois whiskey brand for a very cool collab. And, finally, Seiko debuts some new, and very nice, mechanical chronographs.
This episode was sponsored by Artem and their new HydroFlex watch strap. Crafted with a premium FKM rubber base and layered with their signature synthetic embossed material, “HydroFlex” is water-resistant, flexible, durable, and comfortable immediately out of the box, with no break-in period.

Appreciate W&W content. One thing, please always start with what you're wearing on wrist. I am intrigued... :)
Thanks Zach. Artem looked nice as well, wish they’d offer some brighter colours tho
The Seiko is a winner. I'd put that panda on a racing strap or a true beads of rice and it'd look like a million bucks
Oh for sure, the SRQ049 is mine someday. Damn good looking, and well-proportioned watch.
Hopefully Seiko do an all black version of these new chronos.
I actually wished Seiko would have reissued their 6139 models. A simple dial with just a subdial for Chrono would have been great.
Looks like the hype is dying down for Furlan Marri since they haven’t sold out. Not sure if I’d drop the $$ to specially when the brand releases quartz models. It’s like a Rolex making a quartz Daytona. As a collector I think the money could be spent elsewhere and not on a brand that sells overpriced vk64 watches.
I like the three handed one though.
The bracelet on the SEIKO Chrono is not my style. Those small rice beads look out of place…it could have been a winner 😔
I think many people will throw on a NATO strap or other leather strap for a more 'comfortable' look. The SRQ049 looks too good to ignore.
Reminder: Baltic watches are made in China with terrible QC issues.
Bleh. That bracelet is a bit much, and Seiko just can't let go of oddly placed date windows, on so many models, including this one. Otherwise I really like it.
