I have a similar situation where I welded some metal on a curved area where the windshield attaches to fix some rust, however it didn't have the curve I needed. However it was over 4 feet long and weighed 20lbs and welded to the car. This would come in handy. Funny enough I have the same style kick shrinker/stretcher so I could make this easily.
Freekin' brilliant!
Love it. Will have to knock one up too.
Your video just popped up on my home page feed and I’m glad it did! Pretty slick tool! Subscribed!

Thanks for showing how this was made. Could you make a short video on making the door handle indentation on your door skin video please?
Thank you. Next time I do a similar job I’ll add a bit extra in for door handle
Thanks for sharing this build. This one is going on the wall too. Got any hand held planishing hammer build ideas?
Thank you. I do have a few ideas on a planishing hammer.
handy tool!
Super handy man
You could hold it in the vise if needed as well.
Great idea
Awesome video this is a great idea.
How much do you think this would cost in parts.?
With buying a set of shrink jaws I’d say about $200
Where can I get the dies?
If you look for shrinking and stretching jaws online you should find some.
Hello. Do you know if you can you buy those jaws on their own? (In Australia!)
You can buy the jaws on there own from hare and forbs they have a few options.
@@Resurrected_metalshaping Okay, thanks
Where did you get the dies from friend and what did they cost
I had a spare set in the shop. Hare and forbs have the dies for $88
